En ce qui concerne l’eau, dans une démarche de respect environnemental, nous proposons en effet notre propre eau filtrée plate et gazeuse au tarif d’1,50€ par personne. Nous regrettons que notre sympathique équipe de salle ne l’ai pas mis en avant lors du service et reverrons ce point très import avec nos collègues.

Dear Andy,
thank you for taking the time to leave reviews on several review sites. We appreciate our estate did not meet your expectations or requirements. However, we respectfully disagree with your comments and so would like to offer some perspective and explanation to future readers.
Firstly, we think that “the middle of nowhere” is somewhat subjective: our estate is situated in a beautiful rural environment with superb views over the surrounding countryside. However we are just five minutes’ drive (ten on a bike) from three lovely villages; fifteen minutes from the beautiful town of Pézenas and twenty minutes from the small city of Béziers. And if you want more urban, we are under an hour from Montpellier. It is not an urban environment that’s for sure, but we don’t believe in the middle of nowhere does it justice.
Check in time for our hotel rooms is 4pm and check out is at 11am which is pretty standard for hotel rooms in France. However as part of a large wedding party you stayed in a three bedroom villa of over 140m². It obviously takes some time to ensure a property of this size is perfect for the next guests, as it was for you, and so check-in is generally no later than 5pm. This was communicated bery clearly to you in advance. In reality the property was ready for you at 4pm, indeed earlier for others attending the wedding.
We request hotel guests check out of their room at 11am with villa check out at 10am, again to allow for the deep cleaning of the property for the next guests. Of course, we facilitate late check out (free) whenever possible. On this occasion almost the whole estate had been booked out for the wedding, and with the majority leaving that morning we had to turn the entire estate (36 villas) around in 6 hours, and so it was not possible to facilitate your request beyond 11am when you checked out. Our team did offer to take your bags to allow you to enjoy the estate for the rest of the day and showers and changing facilities are available to facilitate exactly this. Your hanging up on Albert when he tried to explain didn’t really allow him explain or apologise for this inconvenience.
Despite the inclement weather it was a lovely wedding and the team put a great deal of effort into ensuring a great day.
