ein zauberhaftes Hotel, am Besten, man bucht über die Homepage, hundefreundlich, entspannt, liebevolle Details, mit der Buslinie 5 gelangt man zügig auf die andere Seite von Avignon, man kann problemlos in der Nähe parken und mit Öffis die Stadt erkunden, das Frühstück ist so charmant mit lokalen Köstlichkeiten hergerichtet, danke

Lovely hotel in Provençal style located in the medieval part of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. ||Friendly and helpful staff always ready to help you. Beautiful house and garden. Clean and quiet rooms.||Good breakfast. During the day there would always be complimentary beverages and freshly baked biscuits and cakes. We enjoyed our stay very much.||Villeneuve-lès-Avignon itself is very beautiful little town with charming sights.||The location of hotel is very convenient for exploring Provence and Languedoc. It’s easy to reach Avignon by foot or bus.||||Best wishes to charming owner Stephane and all the staff of Hotel de L’Atelier.||||Date of stay: April/May 2025||||Trip type: Traveled as a couple

Chanced upon this when I read an old article of Conde Nast as an alternative to Avignon and yes it is a really good alternative to staying in Avignon area , whether you have a car or not, it can be reached easily (parking is also easy within Avignon). The hotel itself if like a home away from home, very homey (though bed is a tad soft for my back) yet very hotel like in that they will assist you with taxi bookings, help you sort or itinerary when visiting the smaller villages. The people are so warm which makes the difference! And don’t worry about places to eat because there restaurants within Villeneuve and they are so so good as well and has a very local vibe. If you want to be within Avignon or planning to explore the region but don’t want that busy touristic feel you can stay here because it gives you that local feel but the hotel still provide that creature comforts. Though have to warn, there is no elevator and there is a side of the property wherein the rooms go through a small stairwell. This is Europe and a heritage house after all. So something to think about if that concerns you.

Beautiful hotel , full of character with lovely indoor and outdoor spaces. The team were so helpful and friendly and could not have been nicer. Highly recommend
