We stayed at Chateau de Varenne on our way from Paris to the Cote d'Azur. The peace and tranquility we found there was a welcome change from busy Paris. We are so happy we made the stop at this charming chateau. The beautiful and loving touches of the Radfords is evident from the grounds to the rooms. Breakfast was peaceful and delicious. I wish we cold have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Château de Varenne in May and couldn’t be more pleased. Emma and Paul are exceptional hosts—warm, welcoming, and always helpful. Emma went above and beyond to recommend fantastic local restaurants and even made reservations for us each evening, which made our trip effortless and enjoyable.

The rest of the staff were equally friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home throughout our stay. A special mention goes to Woody, the family dog, who was an unexpected delight—gentle, well-behaved, and full of charm (if you're not a dog person, Woody won't bother you).

Each morning, we looked forward to the delicious breakfast spread, featuring fresh seasonal fruits, bread, pastries, cheeses, meats, and perfectly boiled eggs. The château itself is stunning, and we loved spending time outdoors, relaxing by the pool or simply enjoying the beautiful grounds with a glass of wine (they have an honor bar on site with some drinks and snacks).

This is a truly special place with genuine hospitality—we can't wait to return!

Château de Varenne is an amazing experience! Very caring staff always ready to help and assist. The location is BEAUTIFUL. A must when visiting La Provence.
