VILLAGES NATURE PARIS

Bellissimo

We had an amazing time at Les Villages Nature Paris. We stayed in Apartment 2374 (on the second floor, there is a lift available). Very good location, close to the main shop. The Farm was around a 5 mins walk and the pool was around 10mins.
There was a huge double bed in the bedroom with an option to fold out a travel cot if needed and then a huge sofa bed already set up for us in the lounge area. We had a large balcony with two deck chairs and an additional table and 4 chairs with a parasol.
Towels were provided, although we preferred to use our own. There was a shower over a bath and then a separate toilet.
There appeared to be a lot of cups and bowls missing in the kitchen but we managed. Kitchen had a dishwasher and a couple of dishwasher tablets were provided. There is also a Nespresso machine.
No air conditioning, so our room was very hot on arrival day. We left windows locked open, with fans on and curtains closed while we were out and this helped cool the place down. Our friends stayed in 2251 which was on the ground floor and appeared to be a lot more shaded so didn't get anywhere near as hot.
The pool is fantastic, a wave machine, a lazy river outside, several slides suitable for adults and anyone over 1m. Then lots of smaller slides in the splash park suitable for younger kids.
The farm is also great for kids with goats, cows and ponies. You can book various experiences there at additional cost. The indoor soft play is one of the best we've ever been to. It is huge and open 9am-7pm. Disneyland is only a 10min drive away, the main reason for our visit. But we would book extra days next time to try and cover more of Les Villages. Highly recommend.

Tips: If you book Les Villages through the Disney website with your park tickets, you get free parking at Disney park (usually 30€ a day). You don't get this if you book Les villages direct - they do have a shuttle service though.
If you're driving from UK to Paris, there is a toll road which cost us 25€ each way. You can avoid this but it adds 1hr to your journey.
If coming via Euro tunnel, we did not book flexible ticket but there was space on an earlier train on our way out so they let us on. This was not the case on the way back so we had to wait for our planned train.

I cannot believe some of the poor reviews this place receives! Couple with a 4 year old comparing to Whinfell UK. ||Aqua Mondo (swimming centre) is fantastic , its about 5x bigger with slides galore. Roughly 5 slides for smaller kids, and roughly 6 adult slides; nearly all require a rubber ring to go down on. The outside pool is huge, with rapids, slides, stepping stones and more - all of which is heated. There are height restrictions on all the slides, apart from the toddler slides (4 of them) the smallest rider for the ‘adult slides’ is 1.05m (3 available) and I think it was 1.5m for the rest - very strict on these rules. The rock climbing around one of the pools is super fun - Dads will love this! ||This is a big Center Parcs, we hired a bike for our 4 year old and walked ourselves. Electric golf buggies are available which many use.||Activities are similar to those in the UK, but cheaper in price. They also offer many more free activities than that of Whinfell. || Lodge was nice, modern and bright in colour; much preferred to the dark and somewhat dingy lodges in the UK. Yes some of the corners were a little tatty but this isn’t a 5 star resort and the lodge is used week on week - not an issue for us. We did have a slight drainage smell in our hallway, which I know other reviews do state but we got used to it (our 4 year old wasn’t bothered so neither was we).||The free farm and indoor soft play is great, feels brand new.||Overall a wonderful holiday, would book again in a heart beat! It really puts Whinfell to shame!

De bedden in het vip huisje zijn erg slecht. Het matras en toppers zijn ontzettend hard. |Huisje is wel schoon en alles werkt. |Bakker is erg goed en er zijn voldoende activiteiten op het park. Badkamers waren schoon en alles werkte naar behoren. Alle bedden waren slecht.

We en couple. Les points positifs: l'ensemble du personnel est très agréable accueillant, un très beau parc étendu au calme, un appartement bien placé récemment rénové très bien équipé d'une propreté irréprochable avec une terrasse très agréable, le dôme aquatique pour s'amuser, des cabines propres et l'eau propre. Puis les cotés décevants: On arrive au parc, plus de plans disponibles nul part, à l'arrivée en voiture la signalétique pas super claire, on a tourné un peu..puis une fois à l'appartement la TV du salon fonctionne pas, le pied du parasol de la terrasse cassé inutilisable, le petit muret de séparation qui s'effrite en morceau...on à contacté le service technique indiqué, jamais aucune réponse, personne décroche, puis un message whatsap à l'accueil qui nous répond transmettre notre message. Mais jamais personne n'est venu de tout le séjour , on est resté come ca!.Puis les vélos "premium" vraiment dans un état très très moyen , il y a intérêt à essayer avant de se lancer, ils doivent être amortis depuis bien longtemps.. Pour la restauration celui qui fait disons boulangerie, pâtisserie..demande 1,50€ de plus si vous déjeunez sur place! déjà que les tarifs sont vraiment très chers, et les tables en terrasse étaient vraiment très sales!. Il a fait un temps magnifique durant le we et chaud, c'était incroyable de ne pas trouver un endroit genre une roulotte ou autre qui aurait pu vendre des glaces..alors que le parc était remplis de familles et d'enfant;.puis un sentiment d'avoir du mal à comprendre de loin ce que proposent les restaurants, aussi aucun endroit genre comme un café et sa terrasse pour prendre un café, boissons..mais seulement via les restaurants. Nous avons aussi pris un verre à la terrasse du restaurant de la ferme le cadre est très sympas, mais la encore les tables extérieures tellement sales, collantes;..de façon générale le parc donne l'impression d'être vieillissant , pas super entretenu, que le personnel semble faire de son mieux mais vraiment il manque un truc..en conclusion on a passé un we sympas, mais clairement pas assez pour nous donner l'envie de revenir et surtout les tarifs pratiqués ne sont pas du tout à la hauteur de la qualité des prestations et service.
