洛雷特圣母教堂建于 1823 年至 1836 年，由建筑师希波吕特-勒巴斯（Hippolyte Lebas）设计。教堂的门廊由四根科林斯式圆柱组成，柱顶有一个三角形的楣饰，是一座新古典主义风格的建筑，让人联想到昔日的罗马教堂。建筑内部的彩绘和雕刻作品则借鉴了意大利文艺复兴时期的样式。最初，入口位于北侧，但随着拉菲特街的修建，规划发生了改变。

An iconic historic cathedral. Astounding architecture. One feels elevated, just by looking at Nortre Dame from the outside. Didn't have the opportunity to go inside, but from the outside it's fantastic. Makes you believe in the Divinity which has made us mere mortals great engineers and architects. A great salute to the engineers and the architects who designed this iconic Cathedral. Truly God is there inside such an inspiring Cathedral. I wish we had more such great buildings to cherish and enjoy.
