I was visiting Paris and I like to see stores from other countries. Damier de l'Opéra is a small board game store with many games and very good ones. I only bought three sets because I couldn't fit more in my suitcase. However, the clerk was not friendly at all, perhaps because I tried to speak English with him. I don't know if he was the owner or an employee, but the treatment left a lot to be desired. If it weren't for the customer service it would be a great little store.

C'était un super endroit avec une belle sélection de jeux d'échecs, mais malheureusement, le vendeur n'était pas du tout aimable. Rarement ai-je rencontré un vendeur aussi peu sympathique dans un magasin. La situation était tellement gênante que j'ai fini par sortir prendre l'air, risquant même d'éclater de rire face à l'absurdité de la situation.
