Avoid a really bad experience, night shift staff is ready to mess with you and kick you out despite the insane amount of money you paid.
I'm very disappointed with our stay at Hotel Peyris Opéra. Despite being advertised as a 4-star hotel, the quality felt more like 2 stars. The air conditioning in our room was not working, which made it extremely uncomfortable, especially since we were on the 5th floor with my 8-year-old son during very hot weather.
When I asked at the reception to change the room, the staff member not only refused to help but started shouting at me. This kind of disrespectful and unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. I do not recommend this hotel, especially for families looking for comfort and proper service.

First night we were put in a terrible, tiny, smelly, dirty room. There was pubic hair in the sheets. Front desk said they had no options to move us and we were utterly exhausted It was hot and stuffy - the front controls the air. Said to open the window which opened to an alley with gross sewage smell. I cried. All garish old dusty decor looks like a clown costume or cruella de vil. Next day they moved us to similar room, but much larger and a bit cleaner. Never again.

The staff at the hotel were brilliant, helpful & pleasant, especially Ruana who served breakfast every day. She was always welcoming, bright and cheerful, which made our day start well. Great location as the local eateries and shopping were all fantastic. Easy to get around. I'll hopefully be back soon.
