During my recent three-day business trip, I lodged at Hotel Hoy. Positioned centrally and conveniently close to public transport, the hotel exudes a tranquil and soothing atmosphere. However, my stay was marred by two notable disappointments. Firstly, despite being a sound sleeper, I found it exceedingly challenging to rest well due to disruptive noise from a guest on the floor above, persisting from the early hours until indefinitely. Secondly, the breakfast offered at the hotel left much to be desired, particularly considering its hefty price tag of 30 euros. The buffet presented same selection of food options each day, offering limited variety. Among the offerings were a mere three to four types of whole fruits—apple, banana, mandarins, and one variety of berries—alongside coffee, banana bread, oats or muesli, pecan nuts, almonds, and thin half sliced toasted bread with chickpea toppings, served only once. The absence of substantial warm dishes was especially disappointing, with only a small, approximately 3-4 inch piece of bread served as the sole option. Considering the expense, I found the breakfast to lack value for money. In comparison, with 30 euros in Paris, one could indulge in a lavish meal at a purely vegan restaurant.

Rodolfo is the best! Reception always helpful and kind. I had an amazing room, very quiet, super comfy bed, great linens, loose leaf tea in the room, and great matcha latte at breakfast. The only odd thing is that you can’t control the heat in your room, you have to call reception to raise or lower it.

Had the most amazing relaxing massage with Marie-Alex. I only speak English and she was so kind and was able to understand. This is the perfect relaxing after work massage. They were also able to accommodate me last minute!

Un bel hôtel, tant par son charme moderne et minimal, sans être dépourvu d’âme.
La boutique d’un fleuriste fleurit l’accueil et éveille les sens.
Leur carte de visite, qui contient des graines, est biodégradable et peut donc germer… belle idée pour que les touristes puissent emporter avec eux un souvenir vivant de leur séjour dans la capitale.
On se sent comme à la maison, l’accueil est chaleureux et l’ambiance est tranquille.
