0 Sterne, wenn es möglich wäre. Unser Sohn (15) und sein Freund wollten dort 4 Nächte bleiben, als minderjährige Alleinreisende. Im Vorfeld alles abgeklärt, ob sie als Minderjährige dort buchen und übernachten können. Wäre kein Problem, also haben wir gebucht. Als die beiden einchecken wollten, kam die Überraschung: sie dürfen nicht, weil Minderjährig. Wir haben ihnen eine Bestätigung mitgegeben, dass sie allein reisen dürfen mit allen Angaben, versucht telefonisch eine Lösung zu finden - keine Chance. Die wollten die beiden sozusagen ernsthaft auf der Straße stehen lassen. Es wurden auch keinerlei Lösungsvorschläge akzeptiert, nicht einmal ein Taxi oder Uber wurde den beiden gerufen, damit sie zu einem anderen Hotel kommen. Die Sache ist noch nicht erledigt, ich behalte mir alles vor - je nachdem wie die Sache ausgeht.
Nachtrag: Die Antwort des Direktors stimmt nur teilweise. Wir haben das Geld für die Buchung inzwischen zurück. Die Mehrkosten für das alternative Hotel möchte das Hotel Lafayette nicht übernehmen - obwohl wir diese nicht zu verantworten haben. Das Gesetz, auf das sich berufen wird, existiert nicht! Ich habe die Sache inzwischen an die Schlichtungsstelle weitergeleitet. Wenn dort nichts geschieht, nehme ich mir einen Anwalt. Ich lasse so nicht mit mir umgehen. Ich werde jedes "NewHotel" weitläufig meiden.

We had a good stay. Yes, the rooms are small but clean and comfy, just perfect for a few days in Paris. The position makes it easy to move around the center either by foot or with the local transportation.

I found this hotel by chance on Booking while searching for something not overpriced, but still cozy, clean, and beautiful — and I’m so happy I did!
First thing I want to mention is how incredibly friendly the front desk staff were — seriously, so warm and welcoming, joking around and making the whole check-in process feel super easy and relaxed.
The hotel itself is very stylish and charming. The rooms are quite compact, but beautifully designed and thoughtfully arranged. I asked the receptionist if it was possible to get a sunny room — and he gave me one on the top floor where the morning sun came in just perfectly. It truly made my stay special.
Yes, the room is small, but it’s functional and has everything you need for a comfortable night’s rest. After all, when you’re in Paris, you’re not supposed to be hanging out in your room all day anyway!
I also really enjoyed the breakfast — it had everything I love. I asked the staff if they had oat milk (which wasn’t out on the table), and they kindly brought it to me separately. Everyone was just so polite, kind, and accommodating.
The location is amazing, quiet street, and walking distance to everywhere.
Overall, this hotel made my stay in Paris very positive and memorable. Highly recommend!
