We can swear and know that it was left in our room and on return was “missing”

On return rings both gone – not one piece of jewellery 2 pieces “Lost”
How convenient
Hotel refused to refund the room which in my opinion is the bare minimum
They just advised they trust their staff and threatened defamation no accountability
After no manager speaking with us about this – We were told by reception she did not speak English so no one spoke to us then we received email 2 weeks later saying that the reason was she was ill so couldn’t speak to us again convenient
We should be able to leave our room and not have things go “missing”
My advice is do not risk a stay here – They way we have been treated as if this is something we have made up is disgusting
The hotel itself in my opinion is not as described – Area is not safe, Rooms tiny , lacks facilities of a 4 star Hotel
