Nice location with everything within walking distance. Check in process was very long ! Check out was very bad where they refused to give us late check out when I asked for 1 more hour ! Rooms are small with no mirrors but good for 1 night stay .

Phileas Hotel (aka Hotel Phileas Lazare & Spa) is one of the finest hotels I’ve visited in my 70 years. The room cleanliness, decor and comfort level were all impeccable. The service and staff interactions were warm, attentive and all-encompassing with a gold standard level of professionalism. The location in Paris’ 8th Arrondissement is just about the most perfect location one could hope for, if access to major attractions & landmarks plus access to any/all public transportation is what you desire. It is across the street/adjacent to Gare Saint-Lazare, one of Paris’ largest and busiest transportation hubs (Metro Trains, Subway, Buses and Taxi queues) with shops, restaurants, pâstisseries, chocolatiers and much more. (Gare Saint-Lazare is also the first Paris train station, built in 1837.) The value for your money at Phileas Hotel is unbelievably great. The additional amenities of breakfast, occasional live music, afternoon teas with pastry, cocktail hour well into the evening and the hammam spa, in addition to the magnificent staff, make this place a true gem in the City of Lights.

I had a lovely 1st visit to Paris! The visit was only enhanced by the staff. Meriem is amazing!
She was always ready with a smile or suggestions of things to do. All the staff was very helpful and kind. My room was cozy and charming. The breakfast was great and had plenty of options. I love that the hotel is centrally located with shopping, dining choices and tourists spots close. I look forward to visiting Paris again and staying here!
