Lieu très simpa, tendance. Je garde en mémoire les oeufs (????) et la glace/bleu c’était un vrai délice. Service impeccable.

Une ambiance conviviale et animée, un service sympathique, mais surtout des mets uniques et savoureux et une parfaite carte des vins. L'entrée de thon et le plat de poisson étaient mémorables.

I did not expect that my dining experience here would be out-of-the-world, but here I am, still trying to reel in the experience I had last night at Lolo. As we sat, we noticed the atmosphere which were brought about through the speaker. A rhythmic tune that wasn’t too loud for us to hold conversations, but exciting enough to make us want to shimmy a bit as we wait for the dishes to arrive. The red neon glow from the Lolo logo brings a warm red throughout the room.

We ordered 5 entrees and a dessert to share between the three of us. Here were the things we ordered:

Scotch egg, chorizo, ail des ours
Hard boiled eggs whose yolk was still rich and melting encased in an intense meaty shell.

Coques, miso, kumquat (MUST ORDER)
One of the best blood clams I’ve tasted, as soon as the pieces of clam rings a hint of the sea along with the rich miso sauce, it was modulated into a joyous pitch by the sweet and tart kumquat slices.

Langue de boeuf, harissa, chimichurri (MUST ORDER)
Deliciously cooked beef tongue which was enhanced by the depth of each of the sauces. The greens it is topped with really complemented the wholeness of the dish.

Saint-Jaques, asperges blanches, oseille
Scallops deliciously cooked with wild flowers and white asparagus. Presentation is top-notch, showcasing the beauty of the scallop’s shell

Morilles, petits pois, asperges vertes (MUST ORDER)
Delicious, earthy morels on a bed of bouncy peas and asparagus. It reminds you of the freshness of Mother Nature. The ingredients are all bound beautifully by a tangy vinaigrette.

Glace caramel, Bleu Stilton
Sweet ice cream which is a canvas between two intense flavours: the savoury bomb of the blue cheese and the treacly caramel. Each bite tips the balance from one to the other, leaving you exhilarated.

Their bread is good and definitely ask for more to soak up every drop of the sauces. It is an insult to your own yearning tastebuds if you do not.

Lovely selection of wine too. I got the chilled Alsace white wine and my friends got the red, which we had seconds for.

Chaque repas est vraiment une pièce d’art. Merci réellement pour un diner vraiment marrant et qui nous invite à un voyage de gout.

Très belle découverte avec une carte courte mais des plats dd grande qualité, association de saveurs et assaisonnements justes, dressages impeccables. Mention spéciale pour les sauces gourmandes et le surprenant dessert caramel stilton. Service sympa et pro. Belle carte des vins. Courez chez lolo bistrot !
