I recently dined at Le Royal, located at 8 rue Lafayette in Paris, and the experience was quite pleasant. From the moment I entered, the warm welcome from the staff set the tone for a promising evening. The restaurant's elegant yet comfortable atmosphere creates the perfect setting for a delightful culinary experience. The menu, varied and enticing, offers a beautiful selection of classic French dishes with a modern twist. The dishes were good, but my sirloin steak, although well-cooked, had quite a bit of fat. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. Le Royal also stands out for its ideal location in the heart of Paris, easily accessible and close to several points of interest, making it the perfect place to start or finish a day of exploring the city.

Une première pour ma part dans un typique bistrot parisien et je ne suis pas déçu. Les plats sont copieux et le service rapide, que dire de l’accueil, nous avons été superbement servi.

We had dinner late at night right before they close down and they were very kind and polite towards us, and they even offered us dessert as well, and the food was delicious! The waiter was very knowledgeable and super nice, and we had an incredible time in Paris.

Un lieu typiquement parisien.
Un accueil sympa et convivial ! Le personnel est à l'écoute et bienveillant. Il n'y a pas besoin de réclamer le pain ou la carafe d'eau, par exemple.
La cuisson de Steak de thon était parfaite !
Le service est rapide sans être pressant.

1ere et mauvaise expérience.
Le serveur ne vous écoute pas et vous apporte le mauvais plat.
Profiteroles à 12€, le chou est encore surgelé.

We had dinner last night at this restaurant, ordering sea bass ratatouille, beef bourguignon and wine. The food was good, delivered on time with good service from the main waiter with the dark hair and glasses. But unfortunately the bleached blonde young assistant waiter who occasionally assisted us was rude the way he gave us the menu with little enthusiasm and he was constantly staring at us while we are having dinner which made us feel very uncomfortable.We hope this doesn’t happen to other dinners

When: April 2, 2023 at 1pm
What: my parents and i got the escargot, french onion soup, frog legs with bread underneath, mussels with fries and bread came with our meal.
price: 60 euro

Overall, the food was good but pricey. french onion soup was too oily for our taste. i like the interior, looks very french. i would say that this would be to try some french food and then i would not go back again.

The food was pretty good and the place is quite nice, but the service…
The place was really crowded and there weren’t nearly enough waiters, took like half an hour just to get our table cleaned. There are 2 menus but a smaller one was available at the time we dined. The manager was a bit rude to the employees too.

Regretful experience all around. Plus the place isn’t exactly cheap either.
Definitely not coming back

The food was local and delicious. Decoration is classical and nice. But the bar is in the middle of the restorant and too much noise because of all bar machines and washes forks knifes, dishes. Chaos. And the waiter poured the remaining water of the dish of previous guest’s on to my coat and didn’t even realize.
At the end you pay at the desk to the waiter. He directly puts the paying machine in front of you. I realized the amount was +20% higher than the list. Asked him. He told including service. Just check what you pay!

Trés bonne table. Les plats sont très bons et bien garnis. Le service est excellent. Merci encore à toutes l'équipe du restaurant. Nous étions une table de 4 personnes trés bruyants et nous avons été trés trés bien acceuillis et trés bien traité.

Ravis de ce petit restaurant choisi par hasard et ce fut un grand plaisir si bien que nous certifions que nous y retournerons lors d'n prochain séjour à Paris . La cuisine , l'ambiance et la sympathie des serveurs nous ont comblés . Vraiment une bonne adresse à retenir . Merci pour ce bon et grand moment passé chez vous .

Habituée du Royal mais n'y étant pas allée depuis un certain temps, je n'ai pas été déçue par ces retrouvailles. Cuisine de bonne qualité, accueil sympathique, nous avons passé un très bon moment avec mes collègues.

Brasserie aux plats de qualité. Le service est impeccable et ce qui est rare dans ce type d'établissement, ce n'est pas bruyant. Petit bémol certains plats sont à 30€ c'est un peu excessif pour un déjeuner.

Brasserie typique avec, à la carte, des plats classiques bien exécutés et servies généreusement. Viande de qualité et cuissons respectées. Service attentif, souriant, rapide et efficace. Tout nous incite à y retourner.
