DALLOYAU FAUBOURG

Came with my elderly mother in the afternoon about 2-3pm. Staff downstairs suggested us to go on the 2nd floor where the room was supposed to be nicer. First even if it was fully empty, we had to wait, I decided to use the restrooms: bad idea....no toilet papers! I informed the waitress about that issue, she was surprised and blamed her lack on the customers who probably stole rolls of toilet papers earlier!!! (the restaurant was empty, the store downstairs too) So which customer able to pay top $$$ for their food would take risk to be arrested for stealing toilet paper? That does not make any sense....I decided to order sweet + salted food. The waitress on the 2nd floor refused to serve me a religious with seafood that I've seen when I arrived to this place....Only available downstairs!
My 77yo mother and I went back to the lower floor. They only offer two or three high bar tables and high chairs not easy for an old lady with rheumatoid arthritis. We were ready to leave and try to find some other place. We should do instead to order our late lunch to this place that is a kind of fast food at high price. 1/salted plate + 2/cakes and 1 glass or rose wine charged 36 euros?$41 were served on paper plate with a pouch containing plastic forks/knives/napkin/salt/paper...as in any fast food chain! I had to ask our waitress two different forks/knives since she was serving us salted food then desserts...
We also had to hear the staff talking loud and complaining in the very bad way....the account booker was telling the manager that "c'etait la m...."...."It was the sh...! The manager was explaining the job to another employee very loud...we had the feeling to be anywhere in a bad area of Paris but not in the Faubourg St Honore…..Dalloyau is today a name but no more a quality place where to eat. We feel more eating in a fast food in Seine-St-Denis.

Walked in looking to taste some cakes and salmon salad. Asked where the bathroom was, I’m travelling with two kids under three. The reply was “am I going to buy something” I replied, “must I buy before I use the bathroom”. I left feeling like I had chosen the wrong place to stop. Not very friendly.

Poor unfriendly service.

Les vendeurs ne savent pas ce qu’ils vendent

Et dommage que les réglettes des croque monsieur soient arrêtées pour les fêtes
Étrange politique que de forcer les clients à acheter leur autre petits fours en les privant de ce qu’ils souhaitent

Nous sommes allés chez un autre traiteur pour les fêtes
