加沃厅（Salle Gaveau）于 1907 年开业，其名称源自同名钢琴。很快，众多艺术家将这里打造成了必到之地。1976 年，尚塔尔（Chantal）和让-玛丽-福尼尔（Jean-Marie Fournier）夫妇买下了它。1992 年，Salle Gaveau 被列为历史古迹，随后进行了翻修。翻修后，它于 2001 年重新开放。室内装饰恢复了昔日的光彩，以温暖的金色为主色调。至于节目，也恢复了昔日的光彩，以古典音乐为主。

Very charming venue for concerts in central Paris. Not the most practical though, with seating being mostly lateral (beware the torticolis) and painfully slow transit into the hall (not sure if due to stairs being too narrow or not enough doors... but the concert started some 15' late because the public was queuing to fill the room).
