Wow—what a wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived at Villa Marquis, we knew we were in for something special. The check-in experience set the tone: we were warmly greeted by the staff and offered champagne, water, and a hot towel—an elegant and thoughtful welcome that made a fantastic first impression.

Our room was adorable and surprisingly spacious by Paris standards. It was bright, super clean, and beautifully maintained. The only minor downside was that our room faced the street, so there were occasional moments of noise in the early morning and late evening—but that’s to be expected in a vibrant city and certainly not the hotel’s fault.

Dining & Amenities

The on-site restaurant was a highlight—we didn’t have a single bad meal (a full review is coming for that separately!). Breakfast each morning was also excellent, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste.

Location, Location, Location

The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable. Just a short walk down the block and a turn of the corner, and there it is—the Eiffel Tower in full view. It truly doesn’t get better than that. The area is filled with luxury shops and restaurants in every direction, and the nearby train station made getting to our scheduled tour a breeze.

Final Thoughts

Villa Marquis perfectly blends boutique charm with luxury touches and exceptional service. We would absolutely consider staying here again the next time we’re in Paris.

Better than we expected. We booked this on a last minute deal without being entirely sure what it would be like. We loved it.
The location is incredible and the room was great but what really made it was the warmth of the staff. They were lovely and accommodating from the moment we arrived for an unexpectedly early check-in.
Special shout outs to Martin the concierge whose easy-going professionalism amde everything so easy, and to Isabel the restaurant hostess, who made us laugh through breakfast and feel so welcome.
Would definitely go back.

Ich möchte meine Erfahrung teilen: Der Check-in bei der Dame war sehr freundlich und herzlich, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Leider gab es im weiteren Verlauf einige Probleme. Das Zimmer (Junior Suite 803) wurde in einem nicht sauberen Zustand übergeben. Es waren Haare in den Schubladen, Haare auf dem Boden, weiße Flecken auf der Couch, der Boden war schmutzig, und die Spiegel hatten noch Reste von Zahnputzspuren der Vorgänger. Auch der Boden war nicht gewischt, und das Zimmer hatte einen unebenen Boden mit mehr als drei Grad Gefälle.

Der Balkon entsprach nicht den Bildern: Statt Holzverkleidung war der Boden mit aufgeplatztem Estrich versehen. Ich bat um eine Nachreinigung, die zwar durchgeführt wurde, aber nur den Tisch und den Boden betraf. Als ich erneut nachfragte, wurde ich leider sehr unfreundlich und aggressiv behandelt. Mir wurde gesagt, es sei sauber, was ich erwarte, und auf meine Frage, ob ein Zimmerwechsel möglich sei, wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass das nicht möglich sei.

Nach einer längeren Diskussion, bei der ich mich sehr unwohl fühlte und mich bedroht fühlte, verließ ich das Hotel aus Angst, da die Situation für mich sehr belastend war. Der Mitarbeiter holte zwar einen Staubsauger, um die Haare zu entfernen, aber insgesamt war die Erfahrung sehr enttäuschend.

Ich hoffe, dass das Hotel in Zukunft mehr Wert auf Sauberkeit und einen respektvollen Umgang legt.Für mich war dies leider nur eine unglaublich teure Erfahrung

We stayed 3 nights at the Villa Marquis and loved every minute of it! Carmen at reception was absolutely wonderful. She was there every morning offering to help us with anything we needed during our stay. They booked all of our cabs for us and took great care of us. Paul who works the evening was so kind and generous. He always remembered our names! He took care of a private driver for us one night, Georgie if you’re lucky enough to have him drive you while in Paris. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were all wonderful. The hotel is very beautiful! Chic and modern, hope to stay again someday.

Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional, and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible concierge team—especially Paul, Thomas, and Martin. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and completely taken care of.

Paul, in particular, was an absolute gem. He gave us the most thoughtful, detailed tips to make the most of our 2.5 days in Paris—even down to the exact Uber drop-off point in Montmartre so we could skip the uphill climb and enjoy a charming stroll down instead. His recommendations were spot-on, and his warm, delightful presence made every interaction a joy.

The hotel itself felt luxurious in the most effortless way. Breakfast was impeccable each morning, and the location struck the perfect balance—peaceful and tucked away, yet still within easy reach of everything.

We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in Paris. If you’re looking for top-tier service, beautiful surroundings, and a concierge team that makes you feel like royalty, this is the place.
