the hotel is ok, but for the price you are paying, you can get a better room.

We stayed at this boutique unique hotel for one night and we were deeply impressed by the level of service, the customer oriented approach of the team, the convenience and close proximity to restaurants and services while it is not too close to the main streets.

The hotel was given a designer touch with good level of amenities and thoughtfulness. We asked for the onsite team’s support for arrangements and they were always ready to help. Their recommendations on a good breakfast place and mid-day meal which was 2 minutes walk from our hotel was fantastic and we had a great meal there.

They also found an item which was left behind and had it shipped to Venice for us.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in the 8th Arrondissement, just a few steps from the Champs Elysee and within walking distance of the Arc du Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, just to name a couple of Paris' iconic landmarks. The common areas of the hotel could use a little sprucing up, only one working elevator (although there was someone working on the other one yesterday), and some scratches in the many chrome surfaces. The only thing I am really not thrilled with (and it would probably influence whether I stay here again) is the bathtub. The rest of the bathroom is great, but there is no shower mat and the floor of the tub can get pretty slippery, especially considering how high the side of the tub is and that there is nothing to hold onto for balance. It also has what I consider to be a very inadequate shower head. It's one that can be handheld, which means it won't tilt to the right angle when trying to use it. I had to hold it in my hand like I was using a garden hose. No way can I wash my hair like that...too hard to do it with one hand.||Now for the good news. The staff at this hotel are truly exceptional. Jean-Marie, the restaurant manager, walked me personally to the restaurant across the street when I confessed I wasn't in the mood for pasta (which is all that was served at the hotel's restaurant). Then, Jonathan, a concierge, tried unsuccessfully to help me figure out how to book Metro tickets online (which required downloading a couple of apps that effectively wiped out the GPS on my phone, rendering it useless), so he left his post to walk me to the Metro station and helped me figure out how to get a reloadable Metro card. The ladies at the front desk provided me with a two-pronged converter to accommodate my Microsoft Surface. In fact, I've never seen a room that has so many options for recharging devices...and they're conveniently placed above floor level! They also send housekeeping to my door every evening to see if there's anything I need. I personally find it annoying, but it is a nice touch and shows their commitment to good customer service.

This hotel looks great on the website. The rooms were average, at best. Very noisy outside from construction or moving happening. It seems the decor is trying to be edgy but it has been masked on a older hotel foundation. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Everything was wonderful. .Eric, Fred and Guy were friendly and very, very helpful!! Marta and Elena went above and beyond. Exceptional thank you
