The quality of food was excellent. The atmosphere was quite casual. The service was a little rigid but most of the service staff were friendly. However the head waitress was rather abrupt and cold. From our observation, she was friendly with French speaking customers. So it's not a personality issue but some kind of discrimination. Funny enough that we just had lunch at La Jules Verne the previous day, so comparing the two service experience, La Jules Verne's warm and friendly service really stood out. In contrast, the service at La Scene was disappointing for this level of restaurant.

Restaurant exceptionnel, tout le monde le sait. Une étoile en plus pour Mathias, le sommelier, qui nous a fait découvrir des vins parfaits, moins chers que notre choix personnel. Un conseil : laissez le faire. ;-)

Un véritable plaisir gustatif à La Scène ! Les entrées sont raffinées et pleines de saveurs. Les plats, succulents, ravissent les papilles. Le cadre est charmant et le service, chaleureux et passionné.

Unfortunately, during the meal, the guest was served three separate items containing known allergens — on three different occasions. This was not only deeply disappointing, but also dangerous. Despite following up with the restaurant afterward to understand how this could have happened, I received no explanation or accountability from their team.
For a restaurant of this caliber — and particularly one holding two Michelin stars — I would have expected a much higher standard of care, professionalism, and communication. This experience fell far below that expectation.
