The food was fine, the servers attentive and funny, and the atmosphere was ok. But the fine experience went away when the server who was so attentive brought the bill and told us service was NOT INCLUDED. From the way he was talking before, he thought we had just gotten to Paris, but we’ve been here for 2 weeks and been to Paris before and I told him this was the first restaurant we’ve been to where service was not included. I then told him the menu said it was included. He then started into a whole story about “all the taxes the restaurant pays in France” (the TVA/VAT) that isn’t included in the prices for the food (wrong). The interaction really ruined the whole nice meal we had when we really needed it. I won’t come back or recommend this place because of this interaction.
Update for owner: we were in Thursday May 22 about 6:30pm. The gentleman with the glasses was terrific and recommended the delicious profiteroles. It was the server with tanned skin, maybe part Asian. Thank you for responding because being lied to like that for extra money really ended our trip on a sour note.

Low score because the toilets were disgusting, and nothing was done about it. We all ordered beer only while we waited 35 minutes for the traffic to clear so an Uber could pick us up. Had to go inside to order, and did not observe anyone waiting on tables outside. Wednesday, May 25, 2025.

Good place to have a breakfast with coffee, croissant/baguette and orange juice, close to the Arc de Triomphe. Prices are quite high, but typical for that area.

Friendly staff , and fast service
Orderd the rump steak
The potatoes are good , the sauce has barely any taste ( if water has a taste)
A medium rare apparently means raw but I'm not a professional

Vous entrez dans une brasserie traditionnelle et vous ne serez pas déçue.
De votre entrée à votre sortie, vous y êtes accueillis sourires.
A votre table tout le long de votre repas vous vous sentez choyés par le serveur, "tout va bien?", il est là pour vous.
La nourriture est délicieuse avec des plats traditionnels, ce qui n'empeche pas la fantaisie d'un plat du jour.
Et même quand vous avez payé l'attention continue jusqu'à la porte de vrais professionnels, ils aiment leur metier.

Ven was great!

Shared a delicious cheese plate and a nice glass of wine with friends here.

As an American, I’ve found it’s common to be treated like a walking ATM while being given poor service. Fortunately, the opposite was true at this stop on our trip.

Atmosphere was great, our server Ven was personable, punctual, and pleasant, and the food was great while being reasonably priced.

Not sure why the poor average rating - it’s not fair, perhaps some collusion with competitive restaurants?
