I went to this restaurant with my husband after a long day at the museum to enjoy a French meal. He ordered the Beef Tartar and I had the Pepper sauce steak & fries. Everything about our meal was pleasant. I had a bite of the beef tartar and it was delicious. My steal and fries with fresh pepper sauce was so very tasty and a must have. We had two different desserts, the creme brûlée and the tart citron and both were extremely delicious. The service was great and the lady who served us our meal was very welcoming and friendly. We would definitely come back here.

What a treasure! Maison Bes was recommended to us by Stephane, a concierge at Maison Astor, and located a short walk around the corner. After encountering a lot of lackluster service in Paris, Maison Bes was a wonderful counterbalance. Run by a lovely woman, accompanied by her boyfriend and daughter, the service felt like we were welcomed into the family. The food was fresh and delicious. And Violet even gave us several recommendations of places to visit during our stay. We loved it so much, we went back twice in one week. I highly recommend Maison Bes.

Un vrai coup de cœur !
Allez-y les yeux fermés ! L’accueil est absolument charmant, on s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise comme à la maison. Les plats sont non seulement délicieux mais aussi d’une grande qualité — des produits frais, bien travaillés, et une vraie générosité dans l’assiette. Mention spéciale pour l’ambiance chaleureuse et conviviale qui donne envie de prolonger la soirée. Un petit resto qui a tout d’un grand, à découvrir sans attendre !

Posto davvero unico, cibo fresco e di qualità, piatti ben curati e velocità nel servizio.
Violette e’ impeccabile, sa come prendersi cura dei clienti, e ti senti come a casa.

A classical parisian bistro serving traditional french classics. Well made at agreeable prices. I have little to fault them, the concept is tried and tested, yet it feels this is one of a thousand like it in Paris. Good, but a bit boring. Service deducted for presenting duck breast as the substitute for running out of beef, but then serving confied duck leg - difference is, ahem, noticeable. Tasty though ;)

Typical Parisian. Great service!

Came here as tourists based on a recommendation and felt at home. Very quiet on a Wednesday evening in January, but the food was delicious. Everything made with fresh, local ingredients and the dessert was amazing! (Strongly recommend the crème brûlée and the chocolate lava cake).

Service was wonderful and friendly considering we were obvious tourists who spoke horrendous French!
