Food: Saying as a Russian, it’s a pity. What a beautiful restaurant, if you took better care of the food part (essential) it would be 100 stars. Borsh that is liquid as water and has for some reason randon 3-4 tiny pieces of chicken (jesus why chicken), and a few vegetables floating. Shuba salad was okay, The beef Stroganoff: the meet was VERY hard and dry but the sauce was pleasant and tasty. we decided to give it a last chance and order a dessert but the honey cake was unfortunately one of those chemical tasting cakes from the box that you can buy at any Russian shop. Black bread is very good but it’s also from the Russian shop. The blini for the caviar were charcoal black which is a sad accompaniment for the expensive black caviar. The Valentine cocktail was nothing special either. Not very good value for the price, there are so many russian restaurants in europe that are much better. I doubt I will give it another chance unfortunately.

A la Ville de Petrograd est situé juste en face de la plus belle Cathédrale Orthodoxe Saint Alexandre Nevsky.
La Maison Rovnoff reprit le Restaurant À la Ville de Petrograd en 2019 qu'elle renova et aménagea dans la plus pure tradition Russe ; réouvert en 2020 pour tous les amateurs de la cuisine traditionnelle Russe.
Les deux plats préférés des Russes sont le Bortsch qui est par excellence le plat favori du peuple Russe ; une soupe de betteraves composée de viande, de légumes, de fromage et de champignons et un plat bien apprécié par la Russie est le bœuf Stroganov.
Pour l'anecdote le plat favori de Monsieur Poutine est le Chouba, un met composé d'harengs du Danube et de pommes de terre. Un plat qui se consomme principalement à Noël et pour la nouvelle année.
Alors , n'hésitez pas à pousser les portes de la Ville de Petrograd où un univers slave fabuleux vous attend..... autant pour les pupilles que pour les papilles....
