I have to admit that I am really annoyed by this restaurant. I didn't make reservation and I asked "should I have to wait" and they said yes. After waiting for half an hour, I saw someone left and want to sit down. He said you have to make reservation. What the? You let me wait for half an hour and didn't tell me to make reservation? The host was a old man and saw we are Chinese and behave really rude, he is making us like idiots and make me start to hate Paris service, thank you Gentleman.

Rarement vu un restaurant aussi bruyant ! Il n'y a aucun traitement particulier des surfaces qui pourrait atténuer le bruit... nous avons retrouvé le calme de la rue de Verneuil avec soulagement. Concernant la cuisine, terrible déception : le turbot, sec et peu goûteux, n'était pas meilleur que dans une cantine d'entreprise. Et la purée vraiment basique, cantine encore ! J'y avais été il y a une dizaine d'année et en avais gardé un très bon souvenir. Hélas, depuis les choses ont changé, à moins que je sois aujourd'hui tombé sur un 'bad day', mais je ne pense pas que je prendrai le temps (et l'argent) de le vérifier.

Located in a quiet street behind the Musée d’Orsay, we found this intimate restaurant that offers good French cuisine. Between the four of us, we started with the asparagus, fried clams and fabulous oyster mushrooms. Our main courses were the cod fish (delicious) and well cooked lamb (a little overdone). The desserts were all excellent - especially the apple crumble! We decided on à la carte - but a tempting fixed price menu was available. Excellent wine list. The atmosphere was very agreeable and the service was friendly and efficient. With a fixed menu and careful wine choice, this would not be expensive for the area (but we pushed the boat out!). It was busy but we had reserved - possibly advisable at lunchtime.
