The space is intimate and full of charm—it feels like you’re having a meal in your grandmother’s cozy dining room, with warm, welcoming energy all around. Dishes were served on lovely decorative china, with thoughtful presentations that added to the experience (the beef shoulder arrived beautifully in a roasting pan!).
The food was phenomenal. We shared scallops, duck breast, beef shoulder, asparagus, fresh bread, and the most exquisite parmesan soup we’ve ever tasted. In fact, we’ve already looked up a recipe from the chef because we can’t wait until our next trip to Paris to enjoy it again.
The staff were also wonderful—friendly, attentive, and especially helpful in guiding us to the perfect wine selections based on our preferences.
L’Ami Jean gets our highest recommendation. If you’re visiting Paris, make time for this experience. It’s the kind of meal you’ll be talking about for years.
