We found this gem of a restaurant in Rick Steve's Paris guide, while looking for a nice place for dinner in the Rue Cler area. We were absolutely delighted! The ambience was cozy, the service was terrific and the food was amazing! I had the poached egg in a wine sauce as an appetizer, and my husband tried the snail's eggs. Both were delicious. We both had the pollock fish with mashed pumpkin. The fish was tender and the mashed pumpkin was beyond flavorful. We shared the warm chocolate cake for dessert, which was incredible. Illana and Thierry were gracious hosts, and took time to explain and answer questions, nicely tolerating our limited French. It was a fabulous dinner!

Le Septieme Vin in the 7th arrondissement of Paris was an absolute gem of a dining experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Julie and Thierry, who welcomed us with such warmth and genuine hospitality that it felt like we were stepping into the home of dear friends.
The epitome of French charm, this restaurant exuded an inviting and cozy ambiance. The selection of wine was outstanding, and the knowledgeable staff helped us find the perfect pairing for our meal.
Speaking of the meal, the food was nothing short of exceptional. We simply couldn't resist indulging in their delectable desserts, despite being pleasantly full by the end of our meal.

Cozy little restaurant in the middle of Paris. We were there for lunch. They offer a small daily lunch menu with typical French dishes. Good price value proposition. Definitely a place to recommend!
