We were surprised that the waiter asked us for a tip! Like, neither service nor the food was worth it. I asked for champagne and I got a sparkling wine…Very mediocre place. Not to mention that the food was a way too overpriced. Plus, we paid 9€ for water and 13€ for coke. Don’t go there, there a few very nice places next to it.

Le Castel Café is so bad that you have to wonder if this is some psyops to make you hate Paris or something. After charging you 9€ for a bottle of water they have the audacity to ask for a tip, multiple times.
If anything the whole experience gave us a good laugh. It really is that bad.
