In follow up to the owners inquiry – the date was May 17, 2025. The time was 2:36 PM. The table was 44 the fact ire was 251163. The bill was €100. The waiter first started by asking for a 20% tip. My husband looked perplexed and I interjected and said what the tip? I said no 7%. He then bargained for 10%. Neither of us were comfortable about him doing so. Also, at the start of the meal, he asked if we wanted a certain type of bread. We assumed it to be complementary and agreed. Then, with our soup came bread. Later, someone from the kitchen brought another bread and set it on our table I asked him what it was and he said it was the garlic bread we had said we wanted. I stated we did not want that. He took it back. It just seemed like he was really working us to get as much money as he possibly could. He also should never have asked for more than the 7% generous tip. We were willing to offer. We knew we had been taken advantage of. Although the receipt is faint, it has been added below.
