We loved our experience at Les Ombres. Personally, I’m a meat and potatoes kind of girl so the food was a little too creative for my uncultured pallet. ???? That said though, I would certainly visit again next time I’m in Paris.

Cadre exceptionnel, vue imprenable sur la tour eiffel. Service à la hauteur : personnel aux petits soins. Repas très recherché, accord mets et vin très bon. Possibilité de prendre le café dehors, très agréable.

The real disappointment, though, was the food. The six-course tasting menu was inedible—our waiter offered us cheese as a consolation after our first 4 courses of ent almost untouched, only for it to appear on our bill for $60. And just when we thought at least we’d get to enjoy the tower’s light show at 10:00pm, two waiters decided that was the perfect moment to bus the table right in front of us, completely obstructing our view.
Between the gross food, average service, and steep $200 per-person price tag, this was a letdown from start to finish. If you’re considering dining here, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
