Un grand merci au personnel pour cette expérience... unique. J'ai rarement été accueillis aussi autant d’enthousiasme. À croire qu’on dérangeait en entrant et pourtant, promis, on comptait seulement consommer. Nous sommes repartis après un café expéditif aussi vite qu’on est arrivés, le ventre vide mais l’esprit clair : ce n’est pas ici qu’on reviendra, ni nous, ni nos amis.
L’accueil, c’est un métier… mais visiblement pas encore une priorité.

Malgré des circonstances exceptionnelles, le cadre, le service et la cuisine son au top. Toute l'équipe est au petit soin.
Merci particulier à Vincent et Julie pour leur patience et leur gentillesse et surtout bon courage avec les collègues qui sont toujours sur place ????????

Super moment au Gévaudan ! L’accueil est vraiment top, on se sent comme à la maison. Les plats sont super bons, on s’est régalés du début à la fin. Un grand merci à Julie, Nicolas et Vincent pour leur gentillesse et leur bonne humeur — ça fait toute la différence ! On reviendra sans hésiter ????

Excellent casual place with perfect food! Friendly and attentive staff with the best coffee and breakfast. Bravo chef-not to be missed if staying nearby in Paris. Much better than hotel “coffee and breakfast” Brunch also great with “Plats du Jour”. Merci!!

So. I hate to have to do this but I need to leave an honest review. My husband and I enjoyed our lunch here yesterday very much. The service was absolutely wonderful! My ceasar salad tasted delicious... going down. I got very sick a few hours later. The salad I ate here was the ONLY thing I had eaten all day, so I am certain the food poisoning was from the romaine lettuce (the chicken on my salad was perfectly cooked) . I'm recovering now the day after, but I had all the classic food poisoning symptoms, which I will not detail here????. I'm so sorry to leave the 3 star review, if I didn't get food poisoning it would've been 5 stars and I honestly still recommend this restaurant because romaine lettuce is actually a relatively common food to get sick from.

Main courses were bad. Ordered a beef bourguignon, a steak and a pork filet mignon but ended up with two steaks and a pork. Not sure how the mix up happened because I verbally said beef bourguignon and pointed to it on the menu. Upon receiving two steaks I was told the bourguignon was “no longer available” and I had to choose something else. Im pretty sure I saw multiple bourguignons coming out of the kitchen so I don’t know if that was really true or not.

The steak was awful. (Piêce du Bouche) It was so tough that my knife could barely cut through the meat. And that translated to it being extremely chewy. The steak was also completely unseasoned and the sauce it came with was bland. Meat was undercooked because the server didn’t ask how we wanted it done. Fries were overcooked. I normally love steak but honestly this was the worst steak I’ve ever had at a restaurant.
The pork was very average. Meat was dry and the sauce was again bland.

The only reason why the food got two stars is because the starters were good. The onion soup could be cooked down a little more and more concentrated. (But still good overall) The bread and melted cheese on top was so delicious. The filet de Hareng was also great. Portion sizes for the starters were generous.

Staff were very friendly but honestly expected something to be taken off the bill or a complementary item. Especially considering I received the wrong dish, was told the dish I wanted was “no longer available” and that the replacement was awful. I’m from the US so maybe American customer service gave me unrealistic expectations. ????????‍♂️

Carton plein pour ce petit restaurant. Du choix des vins (bio), aux plats simples généreux, en passant par les desserts avec mention spéciale pour la crème brûlée (à la vraie vanille - si rare de nos jours) et la mousse au chocolat, le tout dans un décor traditionnel parisien charmant et un service chaleureux. Que dire ! Merci ! On aimerait tellement plus d’endroits comme le vôtre.

LE bistrot bien caché où on ne peut jamais se planter. carte super courte (toujours bon signe) et que des plats en mode cuisine bourgeoise réconfortante. On adore.
