Location is amazing
Front desk puts effort in to being helpful

Negatives
It’s just not a 4 star hotel, just isn’t, would say it is 2.5
The mattresses are rock hard. Just awful. Need to be replaced asap
The apartment/suite, is just misleading, it’s two double rooms that connect. There is nothing that makes it an apartment or suite. We stayed in 401/402.
No air conditioning. Hard to control heat
Outlets didn’t always work.

Ideal location with plenty of restaurants nearby and we walked to all the main tourist spots but train transport close by. The thing that made our stay most memorable was the hospitality extended to us by Willy. He could not do enough to assist make our stay more enjoyable and gave us some great local sights to see that we wouldn’t normally have gone to. Additionally his English was excellent, we returned to the hotel for another few nights at the end of our holiday because of him. Will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to Paris.

My husband and I spent 9 nights in late March/April at Villa D’ Estrees. The location is fabulous, just a couple of blocks from Notre Dame, and surrounded by restaurants, shops, and excellent transportation options. |The hotel is dated but extremely clean, with large rooms and oh so comfy beds and bedding. There is a bit of street noise from time to time, but if the windows are closed, you will not hear it. The water pressure was great.| The staff - esp Willie and Leuvan - were fabulous and oh so helpful. The breakfast room staff, the housekeepers and shuttle driver were also so kind and efficient. Our WiFi was very good as well.|We’d stay there again for sure!!

Small and intimate hotel close to The Seine and to Notre Dame. In the Latin quarter. Excellent location. The staff very helpful and positive.|But: It is a 4 star hotel and that was not justified. The rooms are worn down and the environment needs some renovation. Many things were irritating - eg bathroom facility very old fashioned, the hot water was dangerous (it was extremely hot), the curtains in the room were almost impossible to pull forward and back, the coffee machine did not function, a bottle of water only supplied the first day, no view at all from the room (it was supposed to be a suite) and the room was quite small. The cleaning was so-so. The price for the stay was around 325 euros a night - that was certainly not worth it.|3 stars due to location, but we will not stay there next time visiting Paris.

Beautiful boutique hotel with easy access to everything. Willie at the front desk is a dear man, so helpful and kind. Get the breakfast, a great start to a Parisian day. Rooms are spacious and clean. We hope to be back!!

I have stayed here a few times and it gets better every time. The manager here, Willie, is fantastic. Always wanting to make certain guests have everything they need. The only downside used to be the limited breakfast, but now they serve a full buffet and it’s excellent. A perfect location on a quiet street makes for a great stay.

I have no idea why in the world why this hotel was EVER given a 4-star rating. Perhaps 2.5 at best. First the positive-- the front desk man was supremely kind, and the room was large. That's where it ends. The room was in horrible shape. Crusty/dirty bathroom, holes in the upholstery, bed was hard as a rock, and the ceiling was falling apart. There were none of the amenities one would expect in a 4-star hotel, such as room service or dry-cleaning. To get ice, we had to go across the street!! The walls were so thin that I could hear every word spoken in the room next door. I had booked this room for 2 weeks, one week was pre-paid. Even though I checked out after the first night and moved to a better hotel, they still kept my $2000. NEVER stay here!

Conveniently located just off the beaten track, in the Latin District - one block from the Seine, Villa d' Estrees rooms are large with pleasant boutique decor. The staff is wonderful. Willie in reception is exceptional! This was our fourth visit to his hotel. We'll be back!

The hotel is quite small, and seems to cater to tourists. Transfers to the hotel were arranged through the exceptional front desk staff. |The staff at the front were always attentive, thorough, and went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. |The cleaning staff were hit and miss. Towels would not be changed, water not put out in the room, and glasses that were dirty would be left for a couple of days. |The rooms themselves were on the larger side for a boutique hotel, but starting to show their age. The bathrooms especially are nothing special and will make you rush through any shower, just to get out of the cramped quarters and tired decor. |The location of the hotel can’t be beat and is walkable to most major sights or to the metro. It’s also located in a very bustling area with lots of restaurants and shops. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more memorable. |I’d recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in a historic building who can also accept the slight limitations of the cleaning staff.

Even before we arrived they reached out to offer us an airport ride, we felt we had made a good choice and our minds were at ease. The staff is very attentive and always eager to assist. Romantic, very clean and fresh bottled glass water daily. Quiet location but steps to restaurants, shopping, metro. Hot water, firm beds, comfy couch & chair in room. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice quiet rooms in a hotel very close to a buzzing part of the city. Very close to the station and therefore very easy to see all parts of Paris. We went during the Olympics and love the hotel and the location. Staff was incredible helpful and friendly!

Magnifique customer service from Willy who provided Gold star service during our stay. The location is excellent and rooms comfortable, clean and classic with wonderful room service. Highly recommend this hotel, and spending lots of time in the Latin Quarter.

This was a return visit after almost 5 years and it was the perfect stay. We received pre-stay confirmation emails with helpful information and the hotel happily organised much needed shuttles to and from train. The staff are so extremely professional and welcoming. No request or question seemed too much for them, the provided wonderful tips and recommendations for our stay including local restaurants and shops to visit. Willy and Guillaume were a delight and added to the experience. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and breakfast a perfect start to the day. A perfect location with easy access to explore Paris.

Ein sehr sauberes und gepflegtes Hotel im Herzen von Quartier Latin! Die Lage ist perfekt, Notre Dame ist quasi um die Ecke! Das Frühstück ist gut, die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und unser Zimmer war sehr schön! Es wurde täglich gereinigt und die Zimmergröße war perfekt! Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel! Paris hat die Touristensteuer seit dem 01.01.2024 um 200 % erhöht, ein Hinweis seitens des Hotels wäre angebracht gewesen, wir waren nicht die einzigen Gäste (immerhin 4 Übernachtungen, 2 Personen), die überrascht waren.
