The hotel is small, but extremely well designed in all details. The honesty bar and living room area with a good selection of newspapers well offsets the Paris-style smaller rooms. The rooms are very comfortable and classy too.

My Mom and I stayed at Hôtel Fougère for a Mother's Day trip in 2024 and we so loved our stay. The hotel is absolutely lovely - from the beautifully decorated dining and tea room to the incredibly helpful and kind staff who would bring tea and divine cakes out in the afternoon to help me decompress like a proper Parisian princess. The location is also perfect for getting to many favorite tourist attractions like the Louvre. I look forward to coming back!

This hotel has tiny tiny rooms. Tight bathroom as well. |Breakfast is not included. |Good location and nice shared lounge. Welcoming front desk staff. |I think there a lots of options in the area so I’d probably choose somewhere else next time.

The staff at Hôtel Fougère are always super-helpful and friendly. And, if you’re interested in art (Musée d’Orsay; Louvre), the Seine, the Luxembourg Gardens, etc, the hotel is perfectly placed.

My husband and i stayed at Hotel Fougere for 8 nights and highly recommend it. Great location, wonderful staff and service, and charming - the kind of small hotel in Paris you hope you will find. We stayed in a deluxe room on the first floor. The room and bathroom were spacious. The linens were high end and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. We enjoyed the breakfast each morning too.

The Hotel Fougere is located on Rue Bonaparte in St Germain de Pres. Very close to the St Germain de Pres church which is one of our favorites, along with restaurants, patisseries and shops. The staff at the hotel is very friendly and helpful, Yohann the front desk person we saw the most was incredibly positive and helpful. The breakfast was pretty simple but good with pastries, yogurt, fruit, warm drink and juices. The room was a bit small like many in Paris, but bathroom was upgraded and bed was comfortable.

This is the place if you're searching for a small, charming hotel with impeccable service. The included breakfast is ample (and oh-so Parisian), the location is just far enough away from the hustle, and fresh flowers adorn the lobby and dining room every day. J'taime!

The best time in Paris. Dominique made our stay extra special with her specialized service. The hotel breakfast is perfect to start your day without going out. Rooms so clean and cute. Walking distance to many things. Perfect place to stay and will be back.

There are many items to recommend this hotel - comfortable, very friendly/helpful staff and location. However, I found my room to be quite small and the bathroom accoutrements rather uncomfortable.

Solo traveler staying at Hotel FOUGERE. The hotel is lovely and in the best location - to me. Staff were very attentive and helpful. Stayed on the top floor with lovely roof beams. May just be my new “go-to” place in St. Germain!

Hotel Fougere is a great place to stay because you can't beat the location in the heart of St Germain. The charming, clean, and comfortable rooms are amazing, and remarkably quiet; I sleep like a rock whenever I'm there.||My family and I have been staying at Hotel Fougere (and its predecessor, Hotel Bonaparte) for about 25 years, simply because it's the best! Fantastic. We stayed for five nights in a deluxe room and we were thrilled. We were on the first floor with a view of the street and the room was very spacious, the bathroom was large and everything was fantastic. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The location was PERFECT. My wife and I stayed for a week for her birthday and we were both extremely happy with this hotel selection. Highly recommend and would stay again the next time we visit.

This hotel was completely renovated during the COVID shutdown. All rooms are very nice. Some are rather small by USA standards but all are very well done. Some still have a classic French feeling. The staff is courteous and very accommodating. Walking distance from the Louvre and shopping on Boulevard Ste. Germain. Several fine restaurants within walking distance also.

If I could rate this hotel higher, I would! A beautiful, chic hotel in the best location in Paris - surrounded by fantastic shops & restaurants. The hotel itself is so beautiful & the rooms perfectly presented, quiet & super comfy beds.

On top of all of this - the staff are incredible. They went above & beyond to accommodate us when we checked in.. I had come from a work buying trip so I had boxes of antiques that needed to be shipped - they stored them for me, gave us extra space to wrap everything & then helped us find a post office… honestly we couldn’t have done it without them.

We have officially found our new hotel for our stays in Paris!

This hotel is in an amazing location, which is the main reason I chose this hotel. Unfortunately the room was a big disappointment. I had upgraded 2 levels, hoping this would provide more space. The ceilings were barely over 7 feet, little room around the bed, and the bathroom was extremely tiny. I have never felt claustrophobic before but I did here. The bathroom looks luxurious in photos, but it was cheaply done. What's odd is that the lower level rooms on the website photos have higher ceilings and look more spacious. The hotel did have a nice space next to the lobby, where you could enjoy a glass of wine, a great place to escape the room. I would not stay here again.

I recently stayed Hôtel Fougère and can confidently say it's now my go-to accommodation in Paris. The hotel has been beautifully renovated with clean, stylish decor throughout. My room, while cozy (as is standard for this area of Paris), was clean and designed for comfort. One standout feature deserves special mention - the shower water pressure is exceptional, genuinely the best I've experienced not just in France but across Europe!
The location is perfect for sightseeing, offering a convenient base for walking to major attractions including the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay and Grande Épicerie. The surrounding area also boasts numerous excellent restaurants and cafes. To top it off, the staff is incredible - everyone I encountered was warm and friendly and made my stay more enjoyable.

Great experience! Located in an adorable neighborhood, close to shopping and metro. Great value for a 4 star hotel with nice amenities as well as daily room cleaning and turn down service. Service was excellent, nice and helpful staff. Recommend and will stay here again!

Brilliant experience. The building and rooms are just so French. The service was like old being with old friends. Located on Rue Bonaparte walking distance to the Paris you read about.

Beautiful hotel & incredibly service. It was also a great location, easy to get to the Metro or just walk around.

Minor constructive feedback is for the staff to include a written note about needing to leave the room key with the front desk when you leave the building to avoid any frustrations on either parties part.

Anytime I'm in Paris, I'll be staying here. Thank you!
