Hotel Le Clos Medicis was perfect for my wife and I during our 8-day trip to Paris. It is less than a block from all of these: an RERB station that connects you by train with Charles de Gaulle airport, the incredible Jardin du Luxembourg park, plenty of good restaurants and pubs, and Metro and bus stops that connect you with the entire city. It's a short walk from the hotel to Notre Dame Cathedral, Sainte-Chapelle, the Pantheon and other landmarks. The rooms at Hotel Le Clos Medicis are smaller than hotel rooms in the U.S. but standard for Paris, the bed was extremely comfortable, the room was clean, the staff spoke French, English and other languages and was very helpful and friendly, the hotel had elevators, was quiet and the price was reasonable - about $207 Euros per night (plus tax) for their Superior room. With all of our sightseeing, we didn't spend that much time in the hotel so it made little sense to spend more.

Je continue de revenir séjourner au Clos Médicis, que j’adore ! Toute l’équipe est aux petits soins et très agréable. Idéalement placé à 2 min des monuments historiques du 6e, l’hôtel est calme, propre et j’y dors si bien. Le petit-déjeuner est complet, il y a des options « healthy », c’est très plaisant. En somme, je reviens car je m’y sens bien !

Stay was OK but would find a different hotel if I were to visit the area again. Front Desk Staff were not overly friendly and cleaning staff were absolutely miserable.

Also, feel unsafe about how they manage the key. They ask to leave the key in front desk at the hotel, okay with that, but when we get back and staff give the key to us when hearing the room number, without any additional verification.
