Chambre à fuir … douche de moins d’un mètre carré … une honte pour ce type d’hôtel !
Communication pre-trip was informative and quick. I will not mention specific names to protect their privacy but “R” at the front desk remembered our email correspondence when checking us in and the doorman “V” was very helpful in securing luggage while we waited for our interconnecting rooms to be ready.
Rooms are Parisian small but well appointed, The staff responded quickly and apologetically when we did ask for a squeaky door to be lubed and an odd odor to be addressed. To be honest, the rooms served its purpose and was comfortable for sleeping.
The highlight here, however, is the staff. All were welcoming and genuinely seemed interested to know how our stay was going. Guest relations managers “C” and “P” engaged with us in genuine conversation without that feeling like it was a “timeshare sell”. Ha!
Pro tip: Get up to the rooftop after 11PM. There was no one there (post Easter week) but it’s still accessible to guests to simply hang out with a leftover bottle of wine you took from dinner! The amazing night time view of Eiffel Tower in the distance is so enchanting.
