Hélas l’ambiance de Roger la Grenouille a bien changé
Certes ma dernière visite date d’environ 20 - 25 ans et aujourd'hui il n’a plus rien à voir avec le restaurant de carabins. Ambiance discrète; cuisine plutôt bourgeoise, même les murs ont perdu leur gouaille ! Un bon dîner cependant.

Cool place. Tasty food, high-quality service. Onion soup is unbelievable here! Highly recommend. But better to make reservations.

Authentic French Classics with a Great Vibe!
Stumbled upon this place without a reservation and was pleasantly surprised to be seated right away, even during a busy hour. The staff was friendly, and they provided an English menu which made ordering easy.
I tried the fried frog legs and the beef tartare—both were absolutely excellent.
The atmosphere was lively, with a fun pop-rock soundtrack from the 70s and 80s playing in the background, which added to the charm.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy traditional French cuisine in a welcoming setting !

I think it is slightly overpriced for what quality they serve. Food is good but not exceptional. I had beef tartare and it was I think the worst beef tartare I had in Paris so far (it was okay, but not well seasoned, without any capres or other extras. side salad was without any taste, too).
However, really nice atmosphere inside and great service, but food is the most important for me so 3/5.

Incroyable expérience dans le coin piano bar de ce restaurant ! Nous avons pu goûter à leur spécialités autour de la grenouille, tout en ayant un concert à deux pas de la table d'un guitariste chanteur.
La persilllade de grenouilles était bonne, le riz un peu terne. Mais la crème brûlée était succulente !
Pour l'expérience complète, le restaurant vaut vraiment le coup, pensez à réserver votre table au piano bar !

Restaurant faisant piano bar certain soir. C'était vraiment chouette. Nous étions dans la pièce avec le chanteur, il est possible aussi de se mettre dans la premier salle et je pense que l'on entend tout de même la musique de là.
Les plats sont très bons, quasiment tout tourné autour de la grenouille (que ce soir les plats ou bien la déco).

I have to say that it completely met our expectations! Really small place (reservation is highly recommended). My partner and I shared an appetizer of fried frogs with three sauces. All delicious, I have to say that the breading is abundant and personally a bit too much since it loses the flavor of the frog. The dish is excellent for two, for one person it is a lot. Then we took a dish each from the main courses and the quantity was always abundant as well as being very good (perhaps the bacon in the salad was too thick). I think the price is quite fair (I don't know how much the frogs cost). In any case, there are also other dishes in addition to frogs but I recommend trying their specialties. Nice and super-friendly staff! Love it!

Excellent food and super friendly staff, very easy to book a table especially as a last minute whim on a Saturday Evening which is usually not the case in Paris!
I had the full three course with frog legs with garlic and parsley which was juicy and tender as my main. If you want Frog legs in Paris served in multiple variants (Pan/Fried/Burger) try this place!
Loved the decor with all the frog inspired ornaments yet retaining a classic bistro aesthetic. I would definitely go back.

10/10. The best meal I had in Paris during my 4 day stay. Frog legs were great and the sausage was so tasty.

Tutte le portate ci hanno stupito ed è impossibile scegliere la migliore. La zuppa alle cipolle è un piatto tipico irrinunciabile se, come noi, siete in visita a Parigi per la prima volta, così come le cosce di rana fritte, specialità di questo ristorante.
Molto belli gli arredi interni, a richiamare un po' la Parigi di altri tempi, e servizio attento e super disponibile (noi non parliamo perfettamente né inglese, né francese, ma abbiamo comunicato senza problemi).

un restaurant caché au fond d'un petite cour qui mérite d'être connu de tous. C'est dans une ambiance feutrée que vous pouvez déguster de très bons plats faisant honneur à la belle et gouteuse cuisine française. Pompon sur la grenouille, une chanteuse accompagnée au piano a su rendre ce moment de partage unique. Je reviendrai :)
