I booked a table for 3 people several weeks prior to celebrate my brother's birthday and was very disappointed when I arrived and was shown to a tiny table barely enough for 2 diners. The table was in the middle of the room and squeezing our group around this tiny table was just not going to be a pleasant experience with the service coming and going. When I suggested that we could take a tiny table against the wall by the window (which had just been vacated by other diners), and at least be out of the main area between the bar and the tables, the waitress was very rude and said it was not possible as she needed to "access the fridge".

This attitude, the inflexibility and the poor preparations for a table that had been reserved a while ago for a special occasion was really disappointing as I had identified this restaurant as being otherwise an exceptional place.
