Very nice restaurant that seemed popular with the locals. We were a group of five and were seated right away. The waiter was very friendly. The food was good and we had dessert. Overall, i really enjoyed Le Raspail.

I bought a bottle of Perrier for €6 — which, fine, I accept the price. But when I walked out with the half-finished bottle, a staff member ran after me asking to give it back. I said, “But I paid for it?” They replied I couldn’t take it with me.

As someone from Scandinavia, this was really strange. Where I’m from, bottles have a deposit system, and people often just leave them behind or give them away. No one chases you down over 15 cents — it felt unnecessarily petty, especially in a place charging €6 for water. If it’s about the deposit, just say so clearly. Otherwise, it feels unprofessional.

Déjeuner d'une famille de parisiens un samedi à Paris. Les plats sont tout simplement mauvais. Pas vraiment chers, mais mauvais. La salade saumon gravlax/lentille : peu de lentilles, du gravlax sec et sur-salé. Le fish an chips de lieu noir, absolument gras et la panure grossière et à peine cuite, les frites surcuites et ayant eu au moins 4 bains, le burger du chef, gras et sec (un challenge !). Bref, rien n'allait, à part les coca, oranginas et ice-tea. Le serveur vient au moment de l'addition et demande si tout c'était bien passé : notre réponse n'a déclenché ni torrent d'excuses, ni contre-argument. La maison n'en est probablement pas à son coup d'essai...

Lunch for a family of Parisians on a Saturday in Paris. The food is just plain bad. Not really expensive, but bad. The salmon gravlax/lentil salad: little lentil, dry, over-salted gravlax. The saithe fish and chips: absolutely greasy, with coarse, barely cooked breadcrumbs; the French fries: overcooked and having had at least 4 baths; the chef's burger: greasy and dry (a challenge!). In short, nothing was right, apart from the Cokes, oranginas and ice-teas. The waiter came over at checkout time and asked if everything had gone smoothly: our reply triggered neither a torrent of apologies nor a counter-argument. It's probably not the house's first try...

Un club sandwich immangeable : une odeur désagréable se dégageait du plat, entre la sauce et les ingrédients végétaux, et le poulet était imbibé d’eau.

Cependant, le personnel a été très compréhensif. Ils ont écouté mes remarques, présenté leurs excuses et remboursé le sandwich.

Intérieur sympa mais brasserie plus que moyenne, on ne se régale pas avec des plats pourtant classiques des brasseries parisiennes.

Gros gros loupé sur la purée, vraiment ? La mousse au chocolat sans goût de chocolat et avec un liquide a l’intérieur…! Et soupe à l’oignon très moyenne..

C'est un endroit où j'aime bien aller manger quand je suis sur Paris. Un bel accueil avec une bonne cuisine à un prix raisonnable.
Petite préférence pour leur fish and chips.

Confit de canard for me, which was pretty good. Not the best I’ve had but certainly would give it four stars if that’s all we ate. What was troublesome was the waiter recommendation to my wife. Paillard de poulet - was basically dry chicken in stale butter. It came out in less than 5 minutes so it had to be re-warmed from earlier. We noticed it’s the featured photo on the website but it looked nothing like that, which confirms that little care was taken in the preparation. There are much better brasseries around the area. Maybe most folks get the burger but for us, that chicken makes this place a hard no.

Really nice place for local too. We took the wok .it was delicious, just a little bit small portion. Maybe with a first meal or a dessert it is better ????.

Je suis allée dans ce café aujourd'hui et mon expérience était franchement désagréable. Tout d'abord, le service était médiocre, et le personnel était impoli et raciste. Leur attitude envers les clients étrangers était exaspérante et leur manque de courtoisie était inacceptable. On avait l'impression de les déranger simplement en étant là.

Endroit agréable terrasse interieur extérieur personnels accueillant agréables souriants bon plats tapas pour déjeuner dîner boire un verre très sympathique je revient régulièrement quand je ne travaille pas.
