This place was not even on my radar when planning my trip to Paris. Matter of fact, I had never heard of it. It was a short walk from our hotel, however, and we were looking for something fairly close. This ended up being my favorite meal in Paris. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful! I will be back during my next trip to Paris.

Belle brasserie art decò avec menu traditionnel français. Plats très bons !

Great food. However, the staff and patrons were not very welcoming. It felt like we were being mocked by the server. Even though we were speaking French to order, they always spoke to us in English and very loudly as if they wanted the other patrons to hear. We got a distinct feeling that we were not welcome. The gentleman next to us got up and left and didn't finish his wine, and the server came up to us and loudly asked in English what did we do. I have never been so embarrassed in a restaurant before. The whole point of visiting Paris is to eat off the beaten path and experience the true culture and not follow the tourist traps. But the locals don't necessarily always like that, I guess.
