Best meal in Paris!

We spent several happy hours here for dinner last evening. We received a warm welcome. The wine list is reasonable and we had two good bottles. The food was fresh and well prepared. We started with a nicely presented shellfish plate. Then tuna steak, mussels, and an egg, smoked fish and spinach dish. All were terrific. We sat for a few hours and felt no pressure to go. We highly recommend.

Absolutely great place with amazing and very fresh sea food, great host, atmosphere and all is done in a very professional way!

Oh my god the food here is incredible. Our eyes were rolling back in our heads. I had leeks and perch (specials of the day), and my husband had the fish with vanilla beure blanc sauce. (I think that dish is a staple.) Every bite was divine, and they have delicious wines too.

The guy who owns this place, along with his wife, was so kind and friendly, and patient with our lack of French. He helped us choose our dishes and wines, and chatted with us when he had spare time.

I've been in Paris for three months now, eating at so many wonderful places. My measuring stick for restaurants has become "Would I return to this place, given the thousands of amazing options in Paris?" And for this restaurant, the answer is yes yes yes. I would (and will) return many times over, as often as I can. Merci, Julien!

There are perhaps hundreds of hidden gems in Paris, and tonight we were lucky to find one tucked away a block from our hotel in Saint Germain. Maybe it’s the fish monger across the street that provides only the freshest catch, or maybe it’s the black and white vintage surfing photos that adorn the minimalist walls, but the place has class and charm.

I had the whole roasted brim, and my wife had the mussels in cream sauce and fries. Both were delicious and cooked to perfection. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices were very reasonable.

With only about 12 tables, it would be easy to walk right past (but don’t do that!). This place really is a gem!

We were craving great seafood in our neighborhood and we discovered Seulement Sea. This is a restaurant that cares about seafood and delivers them in a unique and innovative way! It was a comfortable space with great "waiter" attention from the Owner. A great bottle of wine & mini desserts made a fabulous dinner! We would return! Thank you!

The food was elegant and delicious and the atmosphere laid back and welcoming, good choice of vines by glass.

Perfect place to spend my birthday. Food was delicious and service was effortless and very friendly. There was a good choice of seafood and fish dishes on the menu as well as some special dishes. Great selection of desserts as well.

Fantastic meal and ambience. Started with the mussels and had the daily special (scallops) and tuna for entrees, then mini crème brûlée and apple crumble for dessert. Everything was divine and SUPER fresh. Service was exceptional too. We will definitely be back

Wow what a find! I was served with a starter of crunchy bread with anchovy tapenade. Then i ordered the cream mussels suggested by the waitress. Delicious cream onion sauce with fresh mussels and the most prefect crunchy fries. I enjoyed this meal very much, it was very filling for 1 person. The restaurant itself is small and cosy and clean. Highly recommend!

We (Party of 5) had a wonderful late lunch here. The atmosphere, the food and service were perfect. It's a cosy little place and the owner is très légère and attentive. Clear recommandation.

Delicious seafood, friendly service, down to earth place. We had mussels in a shallot and wine broth that was incredible. The tuna steak came as a flambee and was just cooked right.

This is the best food we've had so far in the five days we've been in Paris. I speak passable French but my husband doesn't speak any. The waiter was kind and understanding and even translated for my husband. We are from the PNW in the US and love our seafood, this was one of the best seafood meals we've had. Don't miss this place!

La serveuse était sympathique et attentionnée, ce qui a été apprécié - elle nous a commencé avec de la tapenade d'olives offerte par la maison, salée et savoureuse. Nous avons ensuite eu le plateau de partage, les bulots étaient vraiment frais et savoureux, les crevettes étaient sucrées et les trempettes et les pains allaient bien ensemble. Le saumon me convenait.

Nous avons commandé 3 moules frites différentes, la standard sans crème, une avec de la crème et une avec du fromage. Parmi les 3, nous avons le plus aimé la crème car elle était la plus équilibrée. Celui au fromage était bon pour les premières bouchées mais est rapidement devenu un peu riche, et celui au vin standard était un peu normal à manger.

Les moules étaient petites mais très sucrées et la sauce à la crème était délicieuse. J'y trempais des frites et du pain sans arrêt et j'avais pratiquement fini toute la sauce à la fin. Les frites étaient vraiment excellentes, croustillantes et pomme de terre et elles sont restées croustillantes même jusqu'à la fin.

C'était un peu cher mais pour le quartier et la qualité, ça vaut le coup pour un bon repas. Comptez environ 35 à 40 € par personne.

Je reviendrais la prochaine fois que nous reviendrons à Paris !

We tried coming here on a Saturday evening but they were unfortunately fully booked, however managed to come again on a Tuesday evening and got a table. Probably best to book in advance!

It’s a small ish restaurant focusing on seafood - we had a craving for moules frites so this was a perfect choice.

The female server was friendly and attentive which was appreciated - she started us off with some olive tapenade which was on the house, salty and tasty. We then had the sharing platter, the whelks were really fresh and tasty, prawns were sweet and the dips and breads went well together. Salmon was ok for me.

We ordered 3 different moules frites, the standard one without cream, one with cream and one with cheese. Out of all 3, we liked the cream one the most as it was the most balanced. The cheese one was nice for the first few bites but quickly got a bit rich, and the standard wine one was a bit normal to eat.

The mussels were small but very sweet and the cream sauce was delicious. I was dipping fries and bread in it non stop and pretty much finished all the sauce by the end. The fries were really great, crispy and potatoey and they stayed crispy even till the end.

It was a bit pricy but for the area and quality, it’s worth it for a nice meal. Expect around €35-40 each person.

Would visit next time we’re back in Paris!
