Yen in Saint-Germain-des-Prés is a gem for those seeking refined Japanese cuisine in Paris. The soba here is both sophisticated and elegantly simple, with exceptional quality in every bite. One of the best and authentic Japanese restaurants in Europe. They make their own soba and have access, in season, to Icelandic sea urchin which is the best with fresh soba. Their unagi is excellent and not from Taiwan or Korea.

Half empty restaurant at 8pm told us they had no room for us due to no reservation. There’s no way to reserve a place at this restaurant on the Google listing or their website
