The hotel is situated in the heart of Paris, the Quartier Latin, near the old Sorbonne University. Therefore, it’s full of young people, yet at night the street is very very calm. The German poet Rainer Maria Rilke wrote his famous novel "Malte" nearby, just like another famous French poet, Rimbaud, lived right in this house.

The hotel room is typically small but very cosy, clean, pretty and has a spectacular view of the city—the Panthéon, the university, and the ever-so-charming small Parisian streets. The Jardin du Luxembourg is only a second away and perfect for a short promenade or a coffee break.

The hotel staff is literally around 24/7, super friendly and helpful in case of any need and the wifi is amazing!

Chambre à 145euros sous les toits, 2 radiateurs roulants en plein milieu, un ventilateur sur pied et un sur l armoire. Lit contre le mur donc difficile de se lever. Bureau branlant avec tv posée dessus. Et la salle de bain , minuscule. Douche très très petite . On ne peut pas se baisser. Et évidemment c est la piscine. Toilettes à peine possible de s asseoir et le dérouleur papier casse qui vous empêche de bouger. Petit dejeuner simple mais à l image du reste. Pas assez de table, les attendent. Et pour finir la personne une femme à

Veilleur de nuit très agréable malgré une arrivée tardive.
Personne qui servait le petit-déjeuner (tres frugal pour le prix) très désagréable, à la limite de l'impolitesse.
Propreté de la chambre laissant à désirer : des cheveux sur le sol et entre l'alèse et le drap de dessous.
Salle de bain très propre.
Aucune insonorisation toutefois nuit très calme lorsque tous les clients ont été couchés.

Great location and good value.|As is common with many of these Latin quarter hotels, the rooms are on the small side. But had all we needed.|Breakfast is not recommended. Plenty of places around the corner, place de la Sorbonne, Boulevard St. Michel and Luxembourg area.

Tiny hotel (15 rooms) opposite Sourbonne and near Pantheon. Location is excellent but rooms are tiny -- the bathroom was so small when I sat on the toilet my knees touched the wall (I'm 185cm). Breakfast was a nice continental mix with cooked eggs and sausages. Very convenient to transport via Luxembourg.

Great place to stay for family Paris trip. Nice and clean room, to have elevator in the small and near hotel is a plus. Great location to many attraction places, easy access to subway and nice restaurants. Walking distance to supermarket.

Reasonable, but not clean.
There were many cockroaches in the bathroom and under the bed. Disgusting.

yes the rooms are very small and there are few amenities, but the location for price is probably the best you will find in paris. rooms are clean and comfortable despite the size and the staff was quite kind. the area is very safe and close to the metro, pantheon, musée du cluny, jardin du luxembourg

OK, the rooms are on the small side but if you come to Paris to stay in the hotel room then there's something wrong. The rooms are clean and adequate and that's all you need. The staff are all friendly, welcoming and will do anything for their guests. The location is superb, away from any noise but only minutes from the Pantheon, Musee de Cluny, Notre Dame, St Germain de Pres, Luxembourg Gardens...the list goes on and on. Also on hand are an abundance of restaurants, brasseries, bistros and bars. I hope to be back.

the rooms are perfect - get a room that opens to the courtyard - bathrooms are small - keep in mind this place was built in the 1485 and you are paying ~$90 a night....and you are in the freaking latin district in paris france.

We’ve stayed here before. It’s old, the rooms are tiny. It’s very clean. The staff are lovely, helpful and accommodating. It’s very close to the Metro, Luxembourg Garden, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne, Notre Dame, the Latin Quartre, the River and several museums. There are great restaurants all around, close to grocery stores and the market stalls all along Boulevard Saint-Michel. Our only complaint is the wifi was down in the hotel during our whole stay.

Our 7-night stay at Hotel Cluny Sorbonne surpassed our expectations. Despite initial doubts stemming from some lower-rated reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. Firstly, the location couldn't have been more convenient, with easy access to trains, buses, and a variety of restaurants nearby.

The room was impeccably clean, although the bathroom was admittedly smaller than what we're accustomed to at home. Fortunately, we managed to make it work comfortably.

Moreover, the staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, adding to the overall positive experience. We would definitely recommend Hotel Cluny Sorbonne to fellow travelers seeking a convenient and comfortable stay in Paris.

I would highly recommend this historic hotel!! I stayed on the 5th floor with great view !Excellent -central location, great and kind staff, the owner very very helpful and friendly (he took care of all requests i had) very clean and lovely room, and overall it was very romantic, very parisienne !!!

I stayed here recently and I was bitten by bugs several times over the course of a few nights. I told the front reception staff and was told a manager would reach out to me. No one has, despite me contacting them.
In addition to being bitten by some sort of bug, the room was very dirty, including the bed being dirty when we arrived.
The location is great, but other than that this was a terrible place to stay. I would seriously recommend looking somewhere else because this place is dirty and the service was terrible.

Excelente ubicación, el personal que atiende es muy agradable, las habitaciones son muy pequeñas y el baño tambien; sin embargo en nuestro caso en particular con mi esposo, fuimos a conocer toda la ciudad y llegabamos solo a descansar, así que no tuvimos mayor incomodidad; nuestra habitacion era en el segundo piso y pudimos notar que las gradas eran bastante estrechas (no fue algo que nos incomodara porque viajamos con equipaje liviano, así que no tuvimos problemas en subir escaleras)... el hotel cumplió con nuestras expectativas, céntrico con muchas tiendas alrededor y paradas de buses cerca, lo recomiendo para viajeros que busquen un lugar tranquilo para pasar la noche, el precio es acorde a lo que ofrecen ya que esta céntrico, no es un hotel de lujo pero lo recomiendo 10/10
