First and most important - you have to adjust your expectations from the hotels in Paris, especially if you what to be in the central part of the city - the building will be most probably old, the room will be small, the breakfast - just OK and the price will be high.
Jardin de Cluny is very good hotel - nicely decorated, clean, polite and helpful personnel, very good breakfast, but most important - the location is perfect, in the heart of Latin Quarter, close to everything. The street, where the hotel is located, is very quiet, but central. A lot of nice places to eat or drink are around. Next time in Paris we will stay in this hotel - for sure!

Hôtel Jardin de Cluny has a great location and the staff were generally friendly, but overall it didn’t feel like a true 4-star hotel experience.
Our King room, though small, was beautiful, practical, and had a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing and very diverse — one of the best we had among hotels in France.
However, some small details made us feel like the hotel is trying too hard to cut costs. The air conditioning was disabled, claimed it's enabled only on specific months, and we had to explicitly request for it to be turned on since the room was too cold. There was no coffee machine in the room, which could be understandable given the room's small size, but then they charged €2 per a Nespresso capsule at the lobby, which felt a bit stingy. We were also given too few towels and had to ask for more every day.
Additionally, there are no extra facilities such as a bar, gym, etc.
This would easily be a 5/5 for a 3-star hotel, but for a hotel claiming to be 4-star, I reduced to 4/5.
On our last day, the hotel booked a taxi to CDG for us and quoted a specific price. When the driver arrived, he demanded 30% more. While the staff did try to intervene by speaking with him, they ultimately didn’t honor the promised price and left us to deal with the situation ourselves. The driver was very rude and aggressive, and the whole experience really ruined the end of our trip. I would have expected the hotel to take responsibility for their mistake, but they simply excused it by saying the staff member who booked it was new and unaware of some extra charges. Because of this, I’m reducing further to 3/5.

The staff: the folks at the hotel were so accommodating, friendly, and caring. We booked our stay through a third party - and there was an issue with our booking when we arrived. They kindly put us up for the evening before the issue was solved - making sure we had a place to stay while they figured out the problem. Once it was solved, the rest of our stay was worry free and easy!
The property: the rooms are typically sized for a 4 star hotel in Paris, but our deluxe room was so gorgeous. The furniture, comfy bed, and decor were all so perfect. The hotel is located on a street with no car traffic, so we slept like babies each night!
Location: very well placed in the Latin Quarter, we were able to get around the city easily. There were amazing restaurants, shopping, and gardens nearby that kept us occupied for the entire trip.
Overall, we loved our entire stay at this hotel - and we can't thank the staff enough for taking such great care of us on our honeymoon!
Overall, we'd love to stay at Hotel Jardin de Cluny for our next visit to Paris.
