I had an incredible experience at Hotel La Lanterne - especially as a first time traveler in Paris. Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. It is in a perfect location, right down the street from Notre Dame and also right near a metro station. You can get anywhere you want to go in the city from this area. The breakfast is very good.

A truly wonderful stay in the heart of Paris! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, charming, and perfectly located for exploring the city.

We had a great stay at La Lanterne in one of their top floor rooms. Good sized room with a decent bathroom. It’s very quiet and with a good air condition. Breakfast was good but not much variety. We tried the pool which is small but relaxing after a tough day as a tourist i Paris. The location is also great with Notre Dame and Pantheon within short walking distance. There is also a lot of restaurants in the neighbourhood. We can easily recomend La Lanterne and would like to stay there again on our next visit to Paris.

Checking was a breeze wonderful reception staff and happy to get into the room. Room service was a bit of a wobble. But the hotel recovered from this with complimentary bottle of champagne and some chocolate. And we also ended up getting the fries (though much later). Great staff otherwise and beautiful room and bathroom.

This is an exceptional hotel which exceeds its four star rating. Beautifully designed and finished rooms and facilities. The rooms are a little on the small side (as is perhaps typical in Paris hotels) but have everything you need, Lively decor and finished to an extremely high standard. Excellent, quality breakfast choices and service. Noticeable attention to detail in all aspects throughout the hotel. ||Very. helpful staff, professional and able to adapt to unforeseen circumstances. In general staff were welcoming and went out of their way to help. Location superb in what to us feels line the heart of Paris - the Latin Quarter. ||Thank you La Lanterne for making our stay so memorable.

I just returned home from a 6 night stay at Hotel La Lanterne and Spa and had a wonderful stay.The staff were friendly and helpful and all spoke English.I opted to pay a little more each day for the breakfast which included croissants, bread and jam, scrambled eggs, fruit,meats,yoghurt,juices and coffee and tea.It was very good and the breakfast room was quite nice and bright.I booked the superior double room and found it to be a good size for Paris and it was very clean and comfortable.The bathroom was also quite big and the walk in shower always had plenty of hot water.Among the amenities in the rooms were a good hair dryer, coffee maker and tea kettle.The location not far from Notre Dame is of course excellent and the street is relatively quiet.I had a street view which I requested and with the windows closed at night there was no street noise to contend with.I have absolutely no complaints with the hotel and would love to return if I am again in Paris.

Just spent 2 nights at the Hotel La Lanterne & Spa in Paris and had a very nice stay. ||The hotel is in the Saint Germain neighborhood which is full of numerous restaurants and full of nightlife. It has a metro around the corner and just 2 blocks from NotreDame. It is practically within walking distance, if you are a walker, from most major attractions. ||The hotel has been updated and though the rooms are small, typical Paris, they were clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. ||They serve breakfast in the morning and have a bar for afternoon/evening drinks. ||The staff were always very nice and helpful when inquiring with any questions and even booked our early transfer back to the airport. ||We never used their Spa as we were only in Paris for a very short time. |However, we will return.

Hotel was alright. The rooms are a bit small and I also question the design choice of having the water tap in the shower instead of the toilet. A decent person would want to wash their hands after using the toilet.
The breakfast was quite small imo, not so many choices but the things they had were good.
One thing worries me, when I arrived they scanned my credit card and passport, I questioned why and they said they needed it for insurance. 2 weeks later, for the first time in my life - my credit card had unauthorized international purchases so I had to block the card. I'm not saying it's because of the hotel, but it's fishy it happens so shortly after my trip there.
Tip for the hotel: Stop scanning peoples credit card, and also their passports. That's not cool. You can reserve a price on the credit card, that should be sufficient as insurance.

Nous avons passé un séjour absolument merveilleux. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par un personnel attentionné et professionnel.
L’hôtel est élégant et propre avec une atmosphère apaisante. Le spa est propre, calme, avec une température idéale, un véritable havre de paix.

Great short stay. Very convenient location near Notre Dame and key metro/RER routes. Staff helpful and booked dinners for us. Breakfast excellent and good value.

Just returned from a five night stay. Location is superb - right by Notre-Dame and convenient for the Batobus (on the river).||Room was a garden room and this was lovely as easy access to the pool and great to sit outside in the evenings (table and chairs provided). Wardrobe space was very tight - not much room when there were two people and staying for five nights with limited hangers so we lived out of the suitcases for most of the time. ||Breakfast is plentiful and tasty.||Pool - the pool and steam room are a delight - went there most days and it was bliss. Very clean and a great space to relax. ||We had one issue with repairs - plug in sink didn't work and an outside light needed a new bulb. This was sorted.||Would definitely recommend. The area is great - lots of eateries and near to everything including metro. We walked for miles and enjoyed our stay.||Thanks.||Dr Sylvia Davies (and husband)

Excellent location, great service. Very pleasant room. Staff were very attentive and always easily available. The room had all the facilities advertised, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I recommend this hotel for central Paris trips.

Expérience unique, tout était parfait, de l'accueil et de la gentillesse du personnel, aux conseils qu'ils nous ont prodigués, en passant par le délicieux petit déjeuner, par la propreté des chambres et de l'hôtel en général, jusqu'au hammam et à la piscine. Mon conjoint et moi sommes entièrement satisfaits et non seulement nous recommandons l'hôtel, mais nous avons déjà décidé d'y revenir l'année prochaine pour poursuivre notre visite à Paris, la ville des Lumières et au-delà. Paris reste Paris, toujours et pour toujours, et avoir un petit bijou comme l'hôtel La Lanterne qui fait que ses clients se sentent chez eux, choyés et bienvenus n'a pas de prix. Félicitations à tout le personnel et merci d'avoir rendu inoubliables ces journées dans votre splendide capitale!

Seul et unique bémol si vous y alleez lz week-end ce sont les nuisances sonores du bar juste à côté mais ce n'était pas le cas cette fois-ci .
Nous y retournerons .

Beautiful hotel with very nice bedding, great breakfast and walking distance to Pantheon and Notre Dame. Close to places to eat, a pharmacy and live music. David at the front desk was so helpful helping me get medical care as well.

Great location. Nice hotel. My primary gripe is the hot water. I could never shower because the water would alternate between cold and scalding hot over and over. I was told it was because my room was on the 5th floor and "it takes awhile for the hot water to travel to the 5th floor." However, my friend on the 1st floor had the same problem. Please fix the water situation. This is a deal breaker for me. Otherwise, all good.

Where to begin. The convenience of the location, cleanliness and overall beauty of the hotel, spacious room (my husband and I booked the deluxe room), and finally the attentiveness of the staff all surpassed our expectations. Everyone including the housekeeping staff were wonderful. Special thank you to Erick, Rachel, Alban, and Anais for assisting in making our stay in Paris magical. The spa and pool area in the underground of the hotel were a great way to relax and refresh after a day of walking around Paris.
Also highly recommend booking on of their massages the hotel spa offers. One of the best massages we have ever had. Cannot wait to return in the future.

The most noteworthy aspect, and the reason for the two stars, was that one of the two rooms had no hot water for two days. A call was placed the night before we left, and we were told the issue was fixed. The following day, the problem still existed.
