We have been coming to La Pie Noir at least once a year for the last 5 years. (Bear in mind, we are not Parisians or even French). This is our favorite restaurant in Paris. You can get great food throughout the city, but what really stands out here is the staff. We always end up with wonderful food, but also wonderful memories. Everything on the menu is delicious, with the fois gras and ravioli appetizers as particular favorites. The pork chop is great, as is the duck breast and steak tartare. We love the restaurant and will 100% be back any time we visit Paris.

I've never written a review, and my wife hasn't written one since Dawson's Creek released its season 2 soundtrack, but we feel it's our culinary duty, maybe even our social responsibility, to sing the praises of La Pie Noir. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. You can get a starter, main, and dessert for 39 euros. And, guaranteed, you'll make a new friend. The staff is tremendous --- cool and funny in a way that makes you want to order another drink just to chat. Check this place out!
