This used to be a really good and nice hotel. However things massively changed. I used to stay at Hotel Caron Le Marais regularly and was never disappointed. Although now this is „just“ a 3 star hotel prices are meanwhile really up. So i paid close to 300€ recently without any event or fair around and during the werk and have to admit that two very bad things happened. First and see for yourself: Mold in the bathroom of Room. 23! Not a little bit, a lot. Then i forgot my electric toothbrush and called the hotel 3 times and was told they get back to me when they get it/find it. Guess what: no one called and when i called again i was told nothing was found. Some extra money for the cleaning ladies i assume?! Same happened to a colleague some weeks ago with a white dress shirt. Same story. So cutting a long story short: this used to be a really good place but these times are over and i will never go again and can not recommend at all anymore!

This is a smaller, boutique-type hotel in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. We were able to walk to the Louvre, Saint Chappelle, and Notre Dame from here. Many of the other attractions required the metro which was a 3-5 minute walk. Cafes, restaurants, pharmacies, ATMs are at your fingertips. The neighborhood felt safe and would quiet down right around the time we were ready to call it a day and go to sleep. There was also a laundry facility about a five minute walk east.

The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is available for 10 Euros, but we chose to walk to one of the many patisseries nearby each day so I can't comment on the quality or value. Overall, the location alone makes this hotel worth it. Marais was a great place to stay. I highly recommend this location.

Great location while staying in Paris. Staff extremely helpful with any questions, booking taxis. Didn’t eat at the hotel, there are lots of options withing walking distance.

My wife & I, choose to stay at Hotel Caron because of the good reviews & it’s location. We were not disappointed. The receptionist lady was a pleasure to deal with, a lovely smiling face with a great sense of humour. The location of Hotel Caron is excellent ????. The room we were allocated was super clean & nicely decorated. The breakfast experience was superb.
10/10 to the hotel management & staff, well done!
We will book again, that is for sure!
