The location was excellent, with less than a 5 minutes walk to the Metro, a taxi stand a block away, lots of shopping, and lots of good restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The room was very small and there was very limited space to put clothes/toiletries. There was no room to open luggage except on the bed. The street below was noisy at night and the walls between rooms were thin, which contributed to noise. Despite the few negatives of space and noise, overall we had a positive experience.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Caron! It was an excellent value for everything we received. The location was fantastic, the room was comfortable, and the additional breakfast was delicious. I also really appreciated the thoughtful small details, like the daily housekeeping and the complimentary drinks and snacks in the minibar.
A special shoutout to Tahar, who went above and beyond to make our stay even better. He kindly let me practice my (rusty) French and, when my friend and I asked for some herbal tea before bed, he thoughtfully prepared an entire tray for us to take up. That level of hospitality truly stood out!
We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Good location, bad hotel. The hotel room we got did not have a normal shower (see pictures). Water went everywhere, and it was so tight, you couldn’t move around without the shower curtains clinging to your body. In addition, the bathroom was not cleaned properly. When we asked for more towels to soak up the water that went everywhere, they were OUT of towels. We asked for a new room, and they did give us one with a normal shower the next day. However, the new room only had 1 bath towel, and when we went down to ask for another one, again, they were OUT OF TOWELS! The gentleman at the desk told us more or less that the hotel owners are stingy with towels and only buy the minimum amount needed. My husband had to use a hand towel.||Overall, avoid this hotel. Only positives are location and the friendly staff.

Très bon petit hôtel idéalement situé dans le Marais, proche de la station de métro avec la ligne qui relie la Gare de Lyon. ||Situé dans une petite rue calme perpendiculaire à la Rue de Rivoli, la chambre, la literie et la salle de bain étaient parfaites. En plus le mini-bar est gratuit et réapprovisionné chaque jour des boissons (sans alcool) et snacks consommés la veille. ||Nous recommandons cet établissement.
