Our stay at the Hotel du Jeu de Paume was fantastic! The moment we walked through the front door and saw the inner courtyard and the lobby was truly magical. The amazing artwork, the library full of interesting books, and the various seating nooks gave the hotel a lovely French Bohemian vibe. The owner was very thoughtful in decorating this hotel as it’s in a building dated back to the 1600’s. The heavy wooden beams and the high ceilings add to this magical setting. The staff is amazing. They were very thoughtful and reached out to us even before our visit! They always greeted us, asked if we needed anything, and they were always very friendly. We can’t forget the big puppy who when not sleeping, loves to play. Every hotel should have a big puppy to greet you! The glass elevator was fun to take up to our room and it actually holds two people, including a lot of luggage. Our room was spacious, well lit, and very clean. It was charming and the big windows overlooked their courtyard . We don’t eat breakfast, but we did see several people in the dining room and the food looked delicious. This hotel is a gem in the heart of Paris. We had a wonderful visit and we’ll be back!
