This was our first stay at the Charles V. We like to change arrondissements each time we are lucky enough to visit Paris but my wife thinks we may have to stay here again next time we’re in Paris. The location in the Marais is ideal. Lots of restaurants around us. Very walkable neighborhood. Close to other sites. The rooms though smallish are well appointed. We had no issues with the shower as others have mentioned. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Perfect location in the Marais yet nice and quiet. Rooms are very comfy. Great buffet breakfast.
