Dernier déjeuner à Paris. Un moment très agréable avec un personnel attentif et professionnel dans une salle cosy et chic. Une très belle découverte culinaire avec une association de saveurs terre/mer que nous n'aurions pas osé habituellement, mais qui s'est révélée être très harmonieuse et succulente. Une présentation colorée d'une finesse et minutie artistique. Un chef discret et souriant entouré d'une belle équipe en cuisine comme en salle. Merci à vous pour cet agréable moment.

It was really disappointing. We waited 1 hour to be seated, when we had a 10 o clock reservation. I found the different flavored foam nauseating, and there was a real lack of good food. It was a waste of an evening in Paris. The lights were too bright. The service was nice, but not extraordinary. I visited in August 2023.

Je suis navré que votre expérience au Sergent Recruteur n'ai pas été au niveau de vos espérances.
Cependant il semblerait que vous cherchez à me nuire directement.
Ce que vous décrivez ne correspond pas au Sergent Recruteur. Nous n'avons aucune lumières vives le restaurant est en lumière tamisée à l'opposé de ce que vous dite. Ma cuisine n'a pas de mousses aromatisées non plus et vous employez des mots absolument honteux.
Lorsque je googlise votre nom vous êtes un faux profil.

I don’t give them the 5 stars only because the lapse between the appetizer and the entree was way too long. They serve 40 to 50 people per night and they are four in the kitchen, four in the dining room. They should be able to keep a better rhythm. As for the food, it was fantastic! Original, good and very well presented.

The big letdown, that we hadn’t previously experienced, was the service, particularly not having the glasses cleared between courses, plates sitting on the table, rushed explanations of the cuisine and wines, and no attention at the end of the service. We actually had trouble getting the staff’s attention to get the bill! Then we had a long delay, with our cards sitting on the table, before we flagged down a server to pay. Meanwhile, chef is back and forth with a table of friends and even had a staff meeting. So this left a bad taste. We felt uncomfortable.
The food was up to chef’s high standard. But the service was not. So we won’t be back next time we’re in Paris (in April). There are just too many places to try and not enough time. Cheers.
