Geweldig restaurant. Zeer attente bediening. Heerlijk eten. Genoeg tijd tussen de gangen. Advies over de wijn gevraagd en er werd ons een geweldige wijn aangeraden voor een zeer acceptabele prijs. Wij komen terug!

The food was decent, but nowhere near good enough to justify the arrogant and aggressively unprofessional service we experienced. From the moment we arrived for our 9:30 PM reservation—made with the clear understanding that the kitchen closed at 10—we were made to feel like an imposition. We were rushed through every course, with the waiter informing us multiple times that he couldn't stay late because he "lived in the suburbs," as if that were our responsibility.
The most disturbing part of the evening came when one of my friends politely expressed that she felt uncomfortable being hurried through the meal. The manager responded by publicly berating her in a manner that was completely out of line—unprofessional, hostile, and shockingly disrespectful.
Later that evening, while we were finishing a bottle of wine down the street, I saw the manager walking a dog. When I gave him a courteous nod, he appeared to respond with an aggressive gesture—pounding his chest while making direct eye contact—and seemed to say something under his breath. Whether or not it was directed at me, the behavior was bizarre, inappropriate, and further evidence of a serious lack of decorum.
This was, without question, one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I’ve ever had—not because of the food, but because of the appalling conduct of the staff. I would strongly advise others to avoid this restaurant if respectful service and basic civility are important to your dining experience.

Une excellente brasserie qui allie parfaitement qualité culinaire, service irréprochable et atmosphère chaleureuse. Les plats sont savoureux, généreux et préparés avec soin, mettant en valeur des produits frais. Le personnel est attentif, souriant et professionnel, ce qui rend l’expérience encore plus agréable. Le cadre, original et convivial, apporte une touche unique à l’ensemble. Une belle découverte que je recommande vivement. encore merci pour ce moment !

I had dinner at this bistro at 9:30 PM, fully aware the kitchen closed at 10 PM, which we were fine with. We were waiting for a friend who arrived a bit late and asked to order fish around 10:10 PM. The staff told us the kitchen was closed—understandable, and we accepted that.
However, the service throughout the evening felt rushed and unwelcoming. The waitress asked us twice if we were done while we were still eating appetizers, and even commented that she couldn’t stay too long, which made us feel pushed to wrap up quickly. We were asked about dessert before we had even finished our main course. At no point were we informed the kitchen was closing, which is basic hospitality.
I also asked whether the beef tongue dish contained gluten, and the waitress said she would check. Based on that, I expected it to be safe—but I found croutons in the sauce. While I didn’t raise this with the manager, it reflected a lack of attention to detail, especially when it comes to dietary restrictions.
When I did bring up the rushed service with the manager, I was met with hostility and condescension. He raised his voice, dismissed my concerns, and never once offered an apology. It was unnecessarily aggressive and highly unprofessional.
If the restaurant isn’t willing or able to serve guests properly at 9:30 PM, then they shouldn’t be taking reservations at that time. For the high prices they charge, the experience was deeply disappointing. I won’t be returning.

We had a great and wonderful night here. Food is superb, and the service is outstanding. And it's absolutely right, the mayonaise they make is straight out of heaven. I've never tasted one better than this, and we're dutch so we know we're we talking about. We eat a lot of things with mayonaise..

Après l’opéra, nous avons choisi ce restaurant au décor chic. Arrivés à 22h45, on nous presse car les cuisines ferment dans 15 min. Service expéditif, banquette inconfortable. Nous commandons 2 verres de vin, 2 foie gras et une salade. Le foie gras a un goût acide ; après plusieurs allers-retours, on nous dit qu’il a été fait il y a 5 jours et qu’il a un goût « normal ». Nous refusons de le manger, les cuisines étant déjà fermées, ill ne nous reste qu’une salade à peine fraiche et l’addition de 28 €. Aucun geste, aucun mot aimable. Heureusement, nous avons fini la soirée chez Bofinger, bien mieux accueillis.

Il y a des endroits qu’il faut s’empresser d’oublier: La Grande Brasserie en fait partie.
Accueil et service très désagréable: à peine entrés, on nous informe que les cuisines sont fermées malgré une réservation possible jusqu’à 22h45.
Des plats sans aucun intérêt, ni effort de présentation. Un beurre blanc salé à outrance.
Un deca? Il n’y en a pas. Une diatribe de 5 mn pour nous expliquer le choix de la maison d’y renoncer pour raisons économiques. Alors va pour un expresso : imbuvable….
Bref, on ne reviendra pas

The menu online is a good 25% lower than what we were presented with. Good briny oysters, a less than mediocre octopus, a decent pork belly dish and great but grossly overpriced bottle of white; gracious staff if a tad hurried. Won’t be back.

Bons plats dans l'ensemble, entrées un peu chères par rapport à ce qu'il y a dans l'assiette, 5 asperges blanches pour 22 euros !!

Première fois dans ce très joli restaurant. Service attentionné joyeux sympathique et discret. Très bons plats. Ambiance très agréable je reviendrai avec plaisir, bravo messieurs !

La réservation est possible jusqu'à 22h45 alors que les cuisines ferment à 23h. Cherchez l'erreur, résultat un service express en 40 minutes entrée plat dessert. C'est dommage car les plats sont très bons . A revoir donc les horaires se réservation pour profiter des plats. Dommage.

Found the service to be quite rude. A man literally pulled a dish away from my husband as he was mid bite. The right thing to do was to get the server to come over and apologize for the mistake and correct themselves. We assumed she didn’t understand our order so we just moved on without complaining - nbd.
