Restaurant choisi un peu par hasard le premier soir. Assez sombre à l‘intérieur. Repas semble être du réchauffé, morceaux d’agneau collés et encore froid à l’intérieur. Entrecote qui est arrivé presque cru, impossible à couper. Bref on passera tout droit la prochaine fois

Service pas au top ! On nous a redemandé ce que nous avions commandé alors que nous avions quand même fait un récapitulatif de la commande !
Ensuite presque 30min pour être servit, on nous avait dit que les plats n'étaient pas salé (problème de santé) finalement trop salé !
Le bouguigon avec des frites qui patogent dans la sauce qui ne ressemble pas à une sauce de bourguignon !
Pas terrible en résumé

Loved the quaint place and the lived in feel, service friendly and helpful. The food didn’t live up to expectations. The chicken and artichoke salad was good. The sausages and lentils, as well as rhe fish and rice were lacking flavour - very ordinary. Sad about that, we’d been very excited about going there

Based on a recommendation, I went to this lovely restaurant near Notre Dame. I tried the suggestions from the chalkboard menu, grilled duck and would recommend it. For dessert, I had the apple tarte tatin which I would also recommend.

The most delightful experience of traditional French cooking. Beef angus, duck, escargot and cream brûlée. Amazing experience, interesting atmosphere, English speaking service. A must next to Cathedral Notre Dame.

We had a 5 pm reservation and when we showed up, they were closed. Another couple was there with a reservation also. Apparently they were closed for Labour Day, but still accepted reservations on their website.

In een straatje net weg van de drukte zit een pareltje. Kleine bistro met authentieke sfeer en goede kaart. Fijne gerechten met lekkere ingrediënten. Bediening is er ook erg vriendelijk.

If you're looking for the dinner place to mark your trip to Paris, I'd recommend Au Bougnat. It's quiet location by the Luxembourg Gardens is perfect.

Both the 'sirloin' steak and the pork were so tough and fatty they were inedible. The waitress could see we were struggling but ghosted until we called her over...the pork was replaced on request with another dish but we felt too embarrassed to send both plates back so my husband persevered with the steak but left 3/4 as it was fat and sinew (definitely not a sirloin cut) - we weren't asked how our meal was at any point. There was no apology or discount or any acknowledgement during the meal or at payment of the poor food - this place is busy because the place up the road is always booked out so they get the overflow (that's how we ended up here), but they obviously cater to tourists and don't really care as they know there'll be a fresh lot through tomorrow. We would definitely suggest spending an extra few minutes and a bit of effort to find somewhere else to eat.

This place was amazing. The dinner was some of the best food I have eaten... anywhere. The service was great. The grilled tuna was so tasty. Good white wine. The orzo pesto was delicately seasoned and delicious. The wait staff was warm and friendly. Language was no barrier. We got along great. And ripped it off with yummy creme broulet. The main reason I would come back to Paris.

Nous sommes venus en famille et nous n'étions plus venus depuis quelques années. Nous avions le souvenir d'un excellent bistrot qui savait mettre en valeur ses produits, avec des prix très abordables, dans une ambiance décontractée. D'où notre retour...
Nous avons déchanté sur plusieurs plans... pas de menu enfant, les plats sont devenus quelconques, le pesto m'a rendue malade toute la nuit (très gras! Pourtant je ne suis pas une petite nature...) et cerise sur le gâteau : les prix ont vraiment augmenté ! Ça y est, la proximité de Notre Dame a eu la peau du rapport qualité prix du Bougnat ????

Au Bougnat is super-cozy petite french restaurant hidden in the narrow meandering streets of "Île de la Cité". Despite its prominent location.. just a few steps from the gothic towers of Notre Dame.. the prices are not out of proportion at all. They are open from 9 am what makes it excellent choice for some good morning coffee. Design is beautifully old-fashioned and very Parisian. I really admired an ancient cellar lift right in the middle of the front bar :-)
