Amazing experience! On our last night in Paris we had the pleasure of eating here and it was divine. We had the salad and the gazpacho which were fantastic. For the mains, the stars of the meal, we had the stuffed chicken and stuffed rabbit. They were both excellent and perfectly cooked and balanced in an array of flavors. As someone that is used to eating rabbit in Italy, I must say this was the most delicious rabbit I've had the pleasure of eating, truly spectacular. The flavor profiles were great and meat falling off the bone but still with the beautiful presentation of the rabbit thigh bone. We had a wonderful Chardonnay to accompany the meal. Truly couldn't recommend this restaurant more, we will return when back in Paris!

We booked early and were favored with the best table in the restaurant which sat overlooking the street from an upstairs window. Prime people watching! The food was excellent (try the escargots served in puff pastry shells), the service was spot on and the value well worth the price we paid at the end.

We found Le Colimaçon on a warm Friday evening while walking through the lively streets of Le Marais. The restaurant was full, and even online there were no tables left, but we decided to try anyway. Luckily, there was a small but cozy table by the window still free for walk-ins.

We were warmly welcomed, and even though it was busy, the service stayed super friendly and fast. We started with a glass of Chardonnay and a delicious starter: warm foie gras with smoked duck, apple, and 'pain perdu'. So tasty!

For mains, we had the duck breast with sweet potato, beetroot, and a nice sauce, cooked just right. We also tried the 'confit de canard' with crispy potatoes and salad. Both dishes were full of flavor, and the duck is really a house specialty. A glass of red wine made it even better.

We ended with a perfect mi-cuit chocolate cake with salted caramel and vanilla ice cream and a classic 'crème brûlée'. What a treat!

We found this place by chance, but we’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Paris!

Went to this lovely restaurant a few years ago. Have managed to find it again on Google maps so we can return in a couple of weeks. Still remember the stuffed rabbit leg!!!

Das Essen war erstklassig. Alle Speisen waren sehr lecker... von den Vorspeisen bis zum Käse.
Es wurden hochwertige Zutaten verwendet, welche auf den Punkt zubereitet wurden. Ich würde sofort wieder in diesem Restaurant essen gehen.

Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Englisch stellt kein Probelm dar.

Es war ein sehr gelungener Abend.

We visited Le Colimacon, on our last night in Paris and we did not regret it! We chose this restaurant because of a Google review. Best stake tartare in town and a good selection of wines. Nice atmosphere and we were very lucky to get a table without reservation. Merci!

Mostly tourists in this restaurant. The food here is definitely not on par with its rating of 4.6-4.7, especially comparing with what we have tried in other restaurants of similar ratings. Escargot super oily. Stuffed chicken super dried, and the flavors do not match really well. Steak has quite a lot of tendons to my surprise, and the beef tastes kind of pale. Crispy Brie is quite good. Other dishes (foie gras pate, French toast) are average.

A C+ for the food as unanimously reviewed by my group. Staff is very nice though and it is located inside a historical building.

We cannot say enough positive things about this small Parisian restaurant in Le Marais! We arrived cold tired and hungry and were greeted with a smile and a table as long as we were done in 2 hours!! We were never rushed and while our server did not speak English there was never an issue!! The steak tartare did not disappoint as made fresh at order. We went back for our reservation days later and still outstanding service, food and wine! My husband had the rabbit and I had the 7 hour beef cheek, both delicious! Save room for the Half baked chocolate lava cake as it will not be forgotten anytime soon!!
We had ask about the Calvados apple brandy and were given a small taste at the end of our meal. Don’t miss this small restaurant that offers big tastes and even better Paris hospitality!

I cannot more highly recommend Le Colimaçon. The staff were wonderfully warm and welcoming, and the food was superb. I only had one glass of white and one of red from their list of exceptional wines (I was the only person in our party dinking!?) but both were exquisite.

Sehr schnuckliges Lokal, freundliche Bedienung. Tolle Auswahl kreativ kombinierter und dekorativ präsentierter Gerichte. Einzig das Gemüse zum Fleisch war etwas übrschaubar und wenig gewürzt. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

It was one of the best dining experiences we have had. We enjoyed the food, the staff and the atmosphere. Everything we ordered was delicious but my favorite was Duck Confit. You definitely need reservations because the place is very busy.

Absolutely spectacular experience. I am a sommelier myself, and worked in restaurants for years - this was top. Escargots and pain perdu au foie exceptional. Service was superb, and atmosphere perfection. This will be a repeat for us anytime we are in Paris (we live in Dordogne, so hopefully frequently!)
